...sigh... now we are getting or rather, slowly drifting back to the trivialities again...this thanking bit. I wondered if that is an intimidating tool for some and to others, to gather more moss that may present the opposite form of resentment... whatever, there are opposing sides to this solution...it is too visible and contradictory for any pleasure to digest.

I wonder, if the star-scale feature can be adopted instead. It sorts of increase and decreases subject to the one-time allowed response...

This way, no one really needs to see or know whose name is supporting which posts or contribution...that sends a ZERO reflection and grinds down ANY ego perceptions either.

I have seen this in the Yahoo site...

It does not matter WHO is giving the thumbs up or the thumbs down...for that should not take center stage with a posting... perhaps that is where the ego boosting is leading some posters with a swelled ego like an ostrich that forgets how to hide its head when needed... yeah,... try figure this hint as well...

Too much control makes for a paranoid userbase, afraid to post or comment. I want the freedom to express myself in an adult, mature manner.

Who really cares whether egos swell, shrink, or go away if we treat each other with mutual respect. Just looking for news, information, opinions, & predictions.

Precisely...and having pointed that out...just see what has enveloped since the Dinar desirables showed up and some turned undesirable soon after....how did your views on these few egocentrics helped curb into what went out of hand...?
