Rice did not rule out a meeting Mottaki on the sidelines of the conference on Iraq in Sharm el-Sheikh
WASHINGTON (AFP) - The American Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice on Sunday that it does not exclude a meeting with her Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki on the sidelines of the international conference on Iraq scheduled to take place in the third and fourth of May next in Sharm el-Sheikh in Egypt.
".Rice said in a statement to the American television network "ABC", "I do not agree with that."".But it added : "There will be a meeting between the United States and Iran that a meeting on Iraq and on what can be played by Iraq's neighbors and all concerned parties to help stabilize the situation in Iraq."
".Rice explained that what should be done by Tehran to help end the violence in Iraq seems to have "very clear".
".She listed the following points to "stop the flow of weapons to foreign fighters and mercenaries to stop the flow across the border and stop the use of explosive devices to kill American soldiers, and stop stirring up trouble between the militias, which then kill innocent Iraqis.".It went on "what should be done is very clear."

On the other hand, denied information about Rice promised by the United States for the release of five Iranian officials currently detained by American forces in Iraq to encourage Iran to participate in the Sharm El-Sheikh conference.

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - A statement issued by the office of Tariq Hashemi, Vice President of the Republic of Iraq on Monday that Hashemi talks with the American president on the reasons that might prompt a list of Sunni Iraqi Accord to withdraw from the Iraqi government.

The Cabinet approved the draft law on military service and retirement
The Cabinet approved the draft law service and military retirement Assembly at its meeting on April 24, 2007, headed by Dr. Barham Salih Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and the presence of Defense Minister Abdul Qader Mohammed Jassim.

Discuss the political bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan led by Jalal Talabani Secretary-General of the steps implement the plan to impose law in Baghdad and nearby areas.

Congress approved the Iraqi At its meeting today, Monday, Law Amendment Act No. 26 of retirement in 2006 after its members voted by an absolute majority.
