I also believe HE answers all prayers, it is just that sometimes the answer is no.
My turn on the soapbox is done now, so thanks for letting me express my views and may we all be blessed with or without a reval.
This all fine and dandy, and fits me almost to a tee, also. But "Doc", has shared a testimoney of Gods Voice to him on several accastions. I will add one more fact about my faith, than what rondo has explained about us already. That is, I believe in God working thru Individuals too. You know sometimes people need to see Mircles first hand, before they believe, and then that dosent work all the time.

That's why God created women. Couldn't let man go through life without pain. Pity about the pain in the butt that women inherited.

I agree Ronbo, I believe there is to much hypocrisy in the Lord’s house too. But don’t worry about them Jesus hates hypocrisy and He will deal with them. There are still a lot of good folks that love the Lord for real, try visiting a few Churches. Just going to Church a couple of times a week will not keep you close to the Lord, Jesus wants you to get alone and spend one-on-one time with Him everyday. Fellowship is why God made man. Praise Him, talk to Him like He’s the best Dad in the entire world, because He is that and much more, and read His Word. He will lead you into a very close and personal relationship with Him.

I agree, man’s brain is one of God’s marvelous creations. The Lord will also give us Godly wisdom and understanding as we follow Him. But He also says that without faith it is impossible to please Him. He will test our faith to help us grow in faith. The Bible says we are to walk by faith and not by sight. It’s not enough to just say, “I believe” God wants us to show Him that we believe by taking corresponding action… Which leads us to the Scripture, “Faith without works is dead”. But yes, God wants man to take his brain out of the shrink wrap and use it. And fill it with His Word.

    The Rich Ruler

    18. A certain ruler asked him, "Good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?"
    19. "Why do you call me good?" Jesus answered. "No one is good—except God alone.
    20. You know the commandments: 'Do not commit adultery, do not murder, do not steal, do not give false testimony, honor your father and mother."
    21. "All these I have kept since I was a boy," he said.
    22. When Jesus heard this, he said to him, "You still lack one thing. Sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
    23. When he heard this, he became very sad, because he was a man of great wealth.
    24. Jesus looked at him and said, "How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!
    25. Indeed, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

As you probably know, in Jesus’ day the eye of a needle was a small opening by the city gate that allowed traders to come and go without risking the danger of opening the main gate. It was small and a camel had to be put on its knees and slowly walked through.

Jesus said hard but not impossible, that’s because most rich people love and trust in there money more than God. God don’t mind if you have money, He just doesn’t want money to have you. He expects you to give to good works, share with others and be willing to give it all and trust Him if He asks. That’s faith, but know this, you can’t out give God!

Thanks for sharing you personal beliefs Ronbo.

    God bless you brother,
    Dave
In the old covenant God did his part, but man failed to do his part… Couldn’t do it.
In the new covenant God did his part, then robed Himself in flesh and did man’s part too.

Not really sure where anyone asked for an explanation on anything. I told him what I thought and he did the same.

And then the scriptures go on to say in Mark 10 ........

26 And they (the disciples) were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved?

27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
