It is wonderful to see the many responses like yours. DocDave is a vessel for the Lord. You too, have that kind of Faith, for we are all given the same measure of Faith but not all of us use it. Like any loving dad at the playground, God is watching and waiting for you to ask for the supernatural power He offers. "For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughtout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him" (2 Corinth 16:9)

While I do agree with most of what has been posted here, there are some feelings I have that might upset some folks. But I have the right to post them just like everyone else has. so here goes. I believe in GOD and Jesus and the Bible. I was saved and baptised back in the 70's. I do not go to church because I feel that is where the biggest groups of hypocrites gather at any one time. I have a brother in law that has a Doctorates degree in religion and is a preacher, and he is the biggest hypocrite I know. I do have faith in the Lord, but if HE had wanted us to have blind faith 100%, he would not have given us a brain. To me that would be like, knowing a tornado was fixin to hit your house and if you believed enough then it would not harm you. That's why HE gave us a brain. I also believe HE answers all prayers, it is just that sometimes the answer is no.
My turn on the soapbox is done now, so thanks for letting me express my views and may we all be blessed with or without a reval.

If we look at anything else but the Lord Jesus [ This includes wife brother sister or just a person in the church ] then we will never obtian salvation. Jesus said he is the Door and if you come by any other way you are a thief and a robber. We all have to work out our own salvation....

It also says that it is easier to fit a camel through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to get into heaven!
