I'm so sorry to hear of Jack's biopsy.......our thoughts and prayers are with him, you and your family. Your are a tough, tenacious person (after what you've been through) who will be alot of help and support for him while getting through this. Wishing you all the best............

Have a few friends with similar situation on there and when it hits home; you really know how to wear out those knee follicles. I have found that when you gather and pray collectively towards a common outcome, it works best for all!

If you understand these scriptures, it helps a whole lot! It starts Isaiah, from the Old Testament. (The entire books of both the Old and New Testaments have great scriptures pointing to His promises!)

Isaiah 53:5: But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

And from the New Testament, Jesus is speaking: The book of Matthew, Chapter 18

18: Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19: Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20: For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

This one is from the Book of Acts: (After Jesus Christ left them with His Holy Spirit and went on to Heaven to be with His Father)
Acts Chapter 5:

15: Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.
16: There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.

Come on Prayer Warriors; besides out families, we have new friends that could use a Good Word, and many encouraging Words of Faith and love.

Sue, I pray also that you hold up and remain strong for your family! By asking for help; I know you will be stronger in this fight!

had brother jack's followup appointment yesterday at the oncologist and the surgeon. he does have stage IV colon cancer which metastisized to the liver. he has a 4" lesion on his liver which is large, but its the only one which is good. we should be getting a call from m.d. anderson within the next two weeks to come for his initial appointment where the oncologist here says he will more than likely begin chemotherapy immediately. they would then keep him on some chemotherapy until they can hopefully do a resection of his liver to remove the cancer if he is a candidate at that time.

i have posted alkaline food charts on the fridge to follow as cancer hates an alkaline body. he is getting nutrient supplements besides moms homecookin. he is eating small meals several times a day instead of large ones. antioxidant teas.

i will take anyones suggestion of any websites i can read on for good health of a cancer patient. and thank you all for the thoughts and prayers that you continue to bestow.
