Like all the other RPPs around, GPP has always been very clear on its site that when the membership reaches 100,000 and it closes to the public, they will require a colour photo ID (passport, or driving licence or national ID) which will be a verification of each member's profile data in order that the insurance company can be assured to issue each policy to "real" persons.
The IDs have not been requested yet but all members are aware of it when they sign up to GPP. So the ones who are not happy to provide such can pass the program by.

The other RPPs require same documents as well.

Anyone worried about giving personal information out? Do you think that it is possible to send identification (ie passport) and blot out some of the information so not giving away full identification, so to protect oneself? Just a thought.
