Get this through your head. No reputable trader is going to post any private info in a public forum and YOU should know that. There's nothing exceptional about trders averaging 1-2 % daily over the long haul. You want to call it drivel...so be it...that's your choice.

Thats a shame because I have posted a link to a factual site where the platform trades $200b used by institutional traders (so big leveraged trades) and they show actual results that dont come anywhere near the 2% a day even for their aggressive fund makers

......I would have really liked to have seen one from you showing these consistent 2% daily returns for a simular size trading group..... are these subject to NDAs as well?

What have all this to do with gpp? ( Forex, etc) I don´t understand. This tread is only about gpp, and nothing else.

I heard something about this program asking for member ID's? Is that true? And this was long after members had signed up already? what was the explanation given for the sudden need of such info?

If this is the case, then i would ask all that are in this program to be really careful with whom they send their ID/Passport details.
Lots of scams today are done by investment companies claiming the need of your DOC's and later they use these docs to make fake bank accounts/ Debitcards in your name to do larger scams..

It has nothing to do with GPP.....some people just like to appear important.

You got the info the wrong way round.
Like all the other RPPs around, GPP has always been very clear on its site that when the membership reaches 100,000 and it closes to the public, they will require a colour photo ID (passport, or driving licence or national ID) which will be a verification of each member's profile data in order that the insurance company can be assured to issue each policy to "real" persons.
The IDs have not been requested yet but all members are aware of it when they sign up to GPP. So the ones who are not happy to provide such can pass the program by.

The other RPPs require same documents as well.

I certainly have no problems when verification leading to authenticate validity of a person becomes inevitable.... it is the only way to substantiate all involved...but that also depends, just WHO is legally, in such a position to demand as a condition to meet one's own setup? If the company, is not registered with this authorized requirements as an approved arm in the set up...it is executing an illegal step towards the public.

If GPP has legal documents to prove that they are backed by the Company Law in having the right to require from participants prior to approved submission with participation.... that too has to be openly questioned and challenged until it can be proven as legally approved by the State.

On the other aspect with the photo part, that is a little too late to be made known, irrespective of its implementation talking place at a later date. This should have been made known way up front and in advance before GPP opened its gates to the public or on the Internet if you will.

So, this is for me.... a very uncomfortable swing for another uncertainty here or for any one pondering or re analyzing this alternate option now posing for those already "in".

Nonetheless,those who seek to be absolutely sure on such moves being valid and authorized by the State should be well advised to first seek legal guidance on this development... before hastily going right through with it...I'm sure, YOU (the general public) too, would not like to be reminded with, "how on earth that you get fooled into believing otherwise about submitting your valid, privilege ID credentials to an unknown company or is it a registered company after all, and now... see what happens to you, all muttered up with fury for being taken for a ride!!!"

The reason these other issues are being brought up is because they give you a better all around understanding of the various types of investments, the risks they involve, and how you can spot the real deal versus the "pie in the sky" wanna be's. If you truly believe that you can turn $35, or whatever amount you want to use, into $80,000, again pick a number; then by all means sign up. Just don't be surprised, hurt, upset, mad or any of the other emotions when it doesn't happen. At least you know you were warned, and can't claim ignorance when it fails.
