Years ago I had come up with this as an answer to keep perpetuating growth of the then new matrix programs by adding a reversing matrix divided into alternating reversing quadrants. Then every month software would invert each quadrant, or however many divisions you wanted to make it, and this would keep it interesting for everyone, especially those at bottom of matrix.

This was the best system yet to allow everyone to be king for a month, and this would keep everyone active which was the only way to prevent attrition, the killer of all programs. After all, who would drop out if they knew they would be on top of matrix a couple times a year, or however you set it up. As we all know, once a matrix starts to fill, too many drop outs from attrition kill them, so this little twist was the solution, too bad nobody has used it yet.

This can not possibly work mike since the levels that pay the least are also the levels with the most people in it. For example ... If level 12 was flipped to level 1 to allow those people on level 12 to be king for a month as you called it , there would be more than 500,000 people trying to fill level 1 which has 3 people. Even if they flipped everyting upside down and reversed all the levels more that a 1/4 million people on level 12 would still be on level 12 and it would take dozens of years to have everyone enjoy king for the month.

This is why the flip and rotate matrixs have never worked in the past ...

Nice to see that we have a number of wise people posting here!

Mike´s idea is very nice on paper, a number of programs launched in the past with various flip the matrix senarios... none however went very far. Bulldogs maths being the main reason.

The bottom line with every sort of matrix is that one has a direct-sales senario, ie the only way for evryone one to make money is through real sales made to people outside the matrix. Otherwise a matrix remains a way of distributing the funds of many to a few (those at or near the top).

To be honest in my opinion , a matrix is the exact opposite of charity, or helping weaker members, it takes the money from the weak (those who either get in late or have difficulty sponsoring) and gives it to the strong( the top refferers and those lucky enough to get in quick).

Any schuffeling or flipping done just serves to pull the blinds over the uninitiated a little longer so they can be milked longer.

If we remember back , the greatest thing about PIPS was that it earned money from outside sources (at least we hope it did) enabeling even those who came in latter or weren´t such great sponsors or sales people to get a piece of the pie.

For me I would always advise only ever join a matrix if you are willing to regard it as a job, a direct sales job, that you are willing to work hard at!!
The attruition problems are caused by those who join up early hoping for a free ride (well in this case its a lotto program , so at least the theam is correct) and then drop out when they realise it didn´t happen for them (what a surprise).

Of course many will sign up, good old "fear of loss" but this is not the spirit that I have come to value in the PIPS community.

Good question, and believe me, very simple with the advance programming used today. I sent Bryan the overview I had been working on for years adressing all the negatives of typical MLM's and matrices in particular, so who knows, I just appreciate the fact Bryan cares about fairness for all, not just those who try to get in at top. How many hear would be happy with a couple grand a month, with a few surprise $12K months a year? That is the question everyone needs to answer for themselves. A reversing matrix can spread out the earnings to more people, and I personally think that is the answer to stopping attrition, the killer of all programs over time.
