I may be reading it wrong, but i read it as them meaning the summit planned for september is delayed.....not this summit delayed till then?

er ok, i reread again, it does indeed say iti's the best date for the summit......but......and a big but, lol I still haven't seen any proof that this is required before we get an rv, where does it state this is necessary first?? huh, show me, i want proof, cmon show me!!!! LOL

I read "RESCHEDULED." why do they reschedule everything all the time?

LOL i edited after rereading it...still don't think an rv is impossible call be stubborn, but that's just the way i feel! LOL

Iraq Oil, Gas, Petrochemical & Electricity Summit officially rescheduled

IRAQ. Following consultation with senior officials from the Iraqi government, the Kurdistan Regional Government and the US Embassy Baghdad the organisers have said it is necessary to reschedule the Iraq Oil, Gas, Petrochemical & Electricity Summit for 2-4 September 2007. This has come about as a result of ongoing negotiations concerning Iraq’s proposed new hydrocarbon law.
Jeff Ando, Communications Director, Iraq Development Program, said: "Expectations were that the hydrocarbon law would be in place for the scheduled date, but it has now become clear that the law will take a few more weeks to be passed and that the interests of attending companies and the Iraq Development Program will be best served by ensuring that the event has the strongest and most unified Iraqi support."

Accordingly, it is agreed that 2-4 September will be the best time for the international energy community to gather and discuss hydrocarbon activities within Iraq, the organisers said. The success of this event will come from companies such as Business Intelligence-Middle East attending and the strong delegation the Iraqi government will send once the hydrocarbon law has been passed.

I am stubborn too. why does this need to happen before the rv? I'm doubting the rv. seriously doubting it. I REALLY WANT A PHONE CALL ON MY VACATION!!! They need new people managing the unmanageable.

As long as it happens sometime soon... I'm willing to wait a little bit longer because I can't cash out until 9 September 2008 anyways to avoid long-term capital gains! Patience everyone... It'll happen, but who knows when?

i've been in this since 2003 or is that 2004, lol whenever the money changed over.......patience is my middle name, LOL
