Since most of us have been hanging on for over a year on forum, and we have all shared our hopes dreams and aspirations, lets look at the good news of this stressful delay in seeing dinar resotored to former value.

As many know, when we were having fun about expanding our homes, buying new ones, etc, so let look at the good news of delay, we will be able to pick up real estate at 30% to 40% less than it was last year in most parts of the country. Personally, this delay will add to out net worths significantly as real estate slides into the deepp abyss of the unknown.

I like to look at the bright side, and I have expected this real estate crash for almost tow years now, so now that the bubble has burst, and the dinar is about to be restored, talk about the greatest combination ever, flushed with cash, and real estate values imploding, this is prime time for all of us real estate investors, so thank goodness for the delay, forclosures are going to create some great opportunities for all of us, so hang in there. (g)

hmmm, LOL being on the foreclosed side of the coin, i have to agree, lol..as strange as it sounds, even being foreclosed on doesn't stop me from wanting to get into that neck of the realty woods, maybe i can even help a family or two from that happening! This money will open all sorts of avenues, for me, my family and other families as well

So sorry, i went through that last year, I wish you the best and pray that you will somehow be able to stop the process from becoming final, if not, i can tell you from experience, as painful as it is, you can move on and put it behind you, I have 4 kids, and it was very difficult and stressful, as well as sad, but we've moved on to the next phase in life, and realize we can only go one direction now, and that is up! Has the house been auctioned yet? Yu can put it up for sale to stave off foreclosure, or maybe even redeem it with another loan (very high interest rates though) at the time we lost ours, neither of those were an option because our daughter was ill, all extra money had to go towards her care....if it hasn't been to auction, they will give you 6 months to remain in the home, this gives you an opportunity to sell, redeem, or save money to move......Please hang in there, things will get better I promise!

rvalreadydang, thank you for your beautiful spirit and words of encouragement. it is truly refreshing and inspiring i sincerely hope all can feed off this. you have a good perspective on this whole adventure. it seems the closer we get the harder it gets. thankfully it looks like the roadtrip will be coming to and end soon.

Sorry you had to learn the hard way, but people have to do everything they can to hold onto their homes, and putting it on market is important, even if you put it on market at a higher price knowing it won't sell, it is all about using everything available to stall auction. Another strategy is to file bankruptcy, even if you don't go through and complete it, just filing offers you several more months of breathing room. As stressful as this is, you can get through it, so anyone going through financial stress, hang in there, it will all work out in the end.

Mike, is it possible that a separate thread can be posted with just this type of information and advice. Seems there are more out there than we know about that could use a helping hand so to speak.

Offshore, you are so right, it's extremely important to do all you can during the process, even if it fails just so you can know that you fought a good fight and give yourself a pat on the back for at least trying, makes a person stronger

I agree! But just for reference sake, those who work certain jobs for the government that require security clearance (my husband) cannot file bankruptcy! As weird as that sounds, if a government employee with those requirements files bankruptcy, goes for credit repair etc......they will lose their job.......go figure!
