Enough said, now best you give it up and move on. Can only assume you're a dealer. Am sick and tired of BS posters like you that change your dates on a regular basis. About time repeat BS rumour posters were banned. Once or twice I can understand and let go but when it's every other week, well, you're not fooling anyone and all you are doing is winding people up who get their hopes up each time.

So it MAY be coming down to the wire--may be hours, days, weeks or months, depending on which rumor/speculative analysis you favor. Neno must be out enjoying life, or otherwise laying low cuz it seems to me he's been pretty quiet since posting his last rumor. No slight intended, just an observation.

To Hcl Or Not That Is The Question?
I Believe that we all agree that the passing of the HCL is the most critical measure that needs to be voted into law...The world, business, the US/UN and even the Iraqi Government...

BUT,
last week the Parliament never rose the subject...all week the spent deciding not to stand in large groups or be windows as that might not be safe...Wednesday-Thursday, they had a bee in their bonet about the Mayor of Bashra...Totally...completely ignoring the issue of this generation?

WHY?
Well there are two trends of thought on this:

A. It was brought back from the conference (and voted on) modified to make acceptable to all on last Sunday. No word to leak out till the right time to avoid a run on the currency...What is the right time: Well, on this Sunday (within 72hrs of his return) the PM will announce his new cabinet...Why not (as people have said) make it a joint purpose news event..

B. The bill that came out of the conference (although greatly modified...ie. 20-30% share for oil companies...a central oil agency to manage oil from ground to market and 4 year review contracts instead of 20-30 year ones) with not a snowball in an Iraqi Summer chance...with again open rumours of coups and critism that they are the lapdogs of the Great Satan...So why even disscuss it....

I tend to believe that just maybe the first might prove to be the case. I was told late last October that the RV could not/would not happen then because of...and he gave me a list of things (standard by our current terminology ie..HCL...Re-instatement of pensions...Sunni Return to government...and, (as I recall) at the bottom of the list was the fact that right before this happens...the PM would reshuffle his cabinet...I have tried to refind the link..it was posted on one of the boards...Maybe someone else will remember it too???

As the PM's staff said that within 72hrs of his current "get out the vote for the conference" tour return he would announce his new cabinet...that will be Sunday???

GUESS We will see...???

Interesting to note (also): Tueday is the fourth anniversity of President Bush's visit to the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier and his famous quote...Also, the new bill to set timetables will arrive on his desk and he will veto it (also) this Tuesday...

Don't you think that if he could tell the nation that Iraq had passed the HCL, raised the Currency and that next week marshalled in a New UN (plus 80 nation) Marshall Plan to include replacing some US troops with troops from the Arab League...mostly Eqypt...that would be a serrious blow to congress's attempt to take control of the "Lost" War...

Excellent summary of where we're at...compelling arguments can be made for each school of thought. Patience as always, seems to be the name of the game.
