WITH the iraqi parliment coming back on the 13 of this month the cotracts have to be delt with by the end of MARCH the oil law will be voted on the 15 of march im told that all will be in place meaning r/v before end of MARCH!!!!!

Can you give me a link that says that parliament returns on March 13? I havent seen anything, and that would be a good read.

كشف عضو مجلس النواب عن الإئتلاف الموحد عباس البياتي اليوم الأحد أن المجلس سيعقد أولى جلساته في الفصل التشريعي الثالث يوم الإثنين من الإسبوع المقبل .
A member of the House of Representatives from the coalition consolidated Abbas Bayati today, Sunday, that the Council will hold its first meeting in the Legislative Chapter III on Monday of next week.

وقال البياتي في إتصال اليوم مع وكالة أنباء ( أصوات العراق) المستقلة " أولى جلسات البرلمان ضمن الفصل التشريعي الجديد ( الثالث) ستعقد يوم الإثنين الموافق الثالث عشر من شهر آذار مارس الجاري."
Al-Bayati said in a telephone conversation today with the News Agency (Voices of Iraq) Independent, "the first meetings of the parliament within the new legislative (III) will be held on Monday, the 13th of the current month of March. "

ولفت عضو البرلمان إلى أن الجلسة "ستكون الأولى بعد استمرت شهرا" عقب إنتهاء جلسات الفصل التشريعي الثاني .
He pointed out that the Member of Parliament meeting "will be continued after the first month" following the meetings of the Legislative Chapter II.

ورفع مجلس النواب العراقي جلساته قبل منتصف شهر شباط فبراير الماضي ، بعد أن أقر الموزانة العامة للدولة عن عام (2007) التي إستغرق النواب عدة أسابيع في مناقشتها .
The lifting of the Iraqi parliament before its mid-February last year, after the Assembly approved the budgetary sphere of the State for year (2007) which lasted for several weeks in the House discussion.

وذكر البياتي أن أمام مجلس النواب "جدول أعمال مهم ،حيث تنتظره جملة من القوانين المهمة التي تنتظر التشريع" ،متوقعا أن تناقش خلال الجلسة المقبلة "مسودة مشروع قانون النفط والغاز ،الذي أحاله مجلس الوزراء على مجلس النواب لمناقشته وإقراره."
Al-Bayati said that before the parliament "an important agenda ahead with a number of important laws awaiting legislation," is expected to be discussed during the next meeting "of a draft law on oil and gas, which was transmitted by the cabinet to the parliament for discussion and approval."

I would venture to say that someone in Iraq is a little confused. If you check the calendar you will see that Monday is the 12th of March. The 13th is Tuesday. So we will just have to wait and see exactly which day they will resume sessions.
