Your post has me totally confused now, not in a bad way, but now i cant figure out what could happen. Im stuck between a rock and a hard place now.

But they don't NEED to change them, at least not immediately. The bigger notes will still have their value. They can use the money they have now in stores (there ARE smaller bills than the 25K) and get CHANGE - so I see it as that the banks would distribute the smaller denoms to all shops etc first...

Then after a few days people could go and change the bigger notes if they want.

What I mean is that the RV can (in my opinion must) come before the smaller denoms or there would be a lot of speculation. Also, there is no problem in that since the existing denoms will still be in use ALSO.

The easiest way to solve this problem would be a 1:1 reval. Then they could use USD for change until they get the lower denoms out.

Or, if the lower denoms really exist, they could distribute the 10K handout using only them.

I bet they would rather use their own. But, this is a good thought. Any comments on this. Seems that it would work just fine at a 1:1 rate.

If would be a easier way to distibute the smaller denoms. This would in turn keep the Iraqi's from lining up at the banks waiting for a IED. Plus this would distribute them much faster. Good thought Karnic. I agree with it. Just have to wait it out to see.
