Not trying to get anyone down but while you are all on the topic of reprint I think you should have an Arabic reader instead of a google translator read this article as it clearly states that there will be a reprint that will be added to the market.

Shabibi could shout "there will not be a dinar reprint!" from the highest part of the mosque and someone will still say "he really meant there will be a reprint."

I can't remember if I read it on ROL or somewhere else, but I read when a country does a reprint, it can't be done again for 5 years. Okay had to get that off my chest!

Disclaimer: Please don't rip me apart as this is only info that I've come across and I will relate all that I have - Don't shoot the messenger. (Sorry, I'm use to having to defend myself from the other forum)
As some my know, I've just started with a new company a week ago. I just found out that one of my co-workers is an Iraqi. He has family in Iraq that also have a business.
I asked him what his thoughts were on the Dinar and he looked at me and laughed. He said "I hope you didn't buy any of that". When I asked him why, he said that it is worthless and that he just gave away - for free - several million.
I ask him if it was the old Saddam Dinar or the new and he said the new. I then asked why he didn't think anything was going to happen with it and he said - and I quote:
"Because the Dinar that it out right now is temporary". I then asked what did he mean? He said "The Dinar that is out is only so they can continue to do business for now. There is a new set of DInar in Switzerland that will come out when things settle down".
Now, I've only just meet him so I don't know how creditable he is yet but he said that he'll prove to me that it's worthless by giving me a couple million.
I'll try to find out more (and to see if he's pulling my leg) and as soon as I get more info I'll post it.
Keep in mind I'm on the Pacific Coast and I'm still at work (I don't get off till 9pm) so I'll only be able to reply sporadically so be patiant and I'll get back to and post if I get any more info soon.

I'm having a very hard time believing this story. You say this guy gave "several" million IQD away??? At a bare minimum that would be at least 3 million IQD. And then he gave you a couple more million? Basically this guy handed out at least 5 million IQD worth $3750 to $4000 USD. Sorry but very few people go around tossing out that level of money.
