E-Verge International at CES Las Vegas

The Launch of E-Verge International will now be held on Feb 23 2008 at the Renaissance, Las Vegas.

Last week was a VERY exciting week for E-Verge International.

For the first time, E-Verge International participated in the Consumer Electronic Show .. January 7 - 10, 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada, where more than 27,000 vendors, representing the major phone and electronic companies of the world, exhibited their products.

At the show two of the, quoting Mark now, “MAJOR MAJOR companies” contacted Mark saying that all they are hearing is “Buzzirk Mobile, Mark Petchel and E-Verge International.”

A little background information about the Consumer Electronics Show.

The International Consumer Electronics Show .. CES.. is a trade show held each January in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association. It is a trade-only show and is not open to the general public. At the show, many previews of products are introduced, or new products are announced. The CES is now considered one of the major technology-related trade shows in the world.

The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is the world’s largest annual tradeshow for consumer technology and America’s largest annual tradeshow of any kind.

One of the highlights of the convention was Bill Gate’s keynote speech in which he formally announced his retirement from his day-to-day duties at Microsoft. He then presented his fantasy of his last day at Microsoft, complete with cameos including Steven Spielberg and Bono.

I joined e-verge last year - in December 2007 I ordered a G550 telephone, for which my MasterCard was charged $308.94 US. After talking to others who had received their telephones but were unable to activate them, I decided to cancel my order and did so by FAX on January 16th, 2008. I tried speaking with them several times and was always put on hold and then their system would soon just drop me off. Finally talked to 'Glen' on January 24th and he said my refund would show up in 3 or 4 business days.

I faxed them again on February 3rd, 2008 asking them to advise me by either FAX or email as to what they intended to do. I eventually got to talk with Jason Kelly and he said that there was a problem with their original credit provider (GE Financial) and that I should dispute the charge with MasterCard. This I did and they apparently notified Buzzirk but Buzzirk has refused to comment and has not refunded my money.

Sounds a bit phoney (not LOL) to me and I would certainly advise people to steer clear of this company that certainly has no capable administration.

GlobalVerge is dead, been the biggest failure in over three years since launch, nothing but usual hype, nothing of substance, just more broken promises, so RIP GlobalVerge, three strikes you are O-U-T OUT.
