What news you have from BNM on PIPS?

I faxed them weeks ago. Heard nothing. Got no questionaire.... etc.

They just need to hurry up and let BM get PIPS back up and running.

I live in the USA. I am faxing over what I have as proof that I am a PIPS Member today (08-26-06). Is there a questionaire that I need to fill out? I didn't receive one. Where do I go to get one if I need to have one filled out. Thanks

If you look for the information on other threads you will find that it is only Malaysian members that have been sent a questionaire to complete. Otherwise, it would be best at this stage, not to send anything.

i would wager that most people's "Final Opinion" is about as thin as a dollar bill, ( and much thinner in the case of a $100 bill).

opinion are speculations based partly on fact, partly on belief and largely on emotion. over and over we see that the emotionality of what one percieves as their due, (you owe me money), as thier greatest hinderance in forming rational opinions.

voice your opinions freely. but remember that it is not the absolute truth, an undenible law or necessarily even applicalbe to others. it is simply "your opinion". and also remember, that if you are willing to expose your opinion, then you must also implicitly agree to expect disagreement with it. if that disagreement turns to personal attacks, then you should refrain from voicing your opinion to begin with.

People have their different points of view but if you REALLY want to know what's up with PIPS, run the silly bank through Google and CALL the nearest branch to you. They have satellite sites in London and in New York.

When I spoke with the office in New York, the individual familiar with PIPS said all were anxious for this to come to a "satisfactory conclusion for all". The investigation, from the beginning, was ludicrous. The nuttiness continued with everyone pointing the finger. Let's keep that finger pointed where it belongs. It DOESN'T MATTER, who says what under a pseudonym or whatever. We would just like to see some sort of resolution from THE BANK ITSELF. THEY got the money! Our money! And they take THEIR sweet time trying to reconcile this matter.

I had posted information earlier as to who to email to at that Bank. I'll see if I can find it or maybe you will if you search these posts. The BANK is keeping track of emails in a database and ALL will be informed FROM THEM when a resolution is achieved. They are, unfortunately, notoriously slow. NOT BRIAN, NOT ANYONE ELSE, HAS CONTROL OVER THIS MESS.

If you want to holler for at least your initial investment back, holler at the BANK. The more we holler at THEM, the quicker they might get with it and get it done. THAT is where the concentration should be; not in an online forum except to impart information as to what to do to speed things are that are EFFECTIVE. The pro's and con's of what was is no longer a point - except that this BANK decided to figure out, from my guess, why THEY weren't getting money for transactions and felt THEY were due money.

Again, IT DOESN'T MATTER IF BRYAN OR JOE BLOW posts whatever. Your money and investment is your responsibility - NOT THEIRS.

In rebuttal to an earlier post, "You risked your money as stated on the website" - okay, I buy that to a point. It said, basically, outside of the whole financial world turning upside down, everything was intact. This was NOT the case although any money invested in anything is a risk.

The "maybe failure" of PIPS had nothing to do with it's principals nor investments. I fully believe it had EVERYTHING to do with a greedy little bank who wanted a cut of the action and seized everything - and takes its sweet time to find fault while the rest of us lost. Of course this was unforeseen by Bryan and everyone else. Who would ever imagine THAT?

Please HOLLER at the Bank. The more and louder we holler, the faster there might be a resolution. To surmise in this forum is fruitless at this point.

This has got to be the most stupid post in a string of exceedingly stupid posts!

Bank of Negara is not being greedy. It may be being unacceptable slow, but it does have a job to do protecting Malaysian bank customers. Hollering at them will achieve absolutely NO positive outcome!

What they are doing has nothing whatsoever to do with getting back your money in a direct sense.

Think about it. ( I suspect that will be a new experience for you.) Firstly, way back, when they first stepped in, the account was reported to be worth about $500,000. My funds in PIPS were worth about half that at the time! Clearly it is not the primary investment fund, or if it is we are all screwed!!


The problem is that along with freezing the account they seized the computer records. And every contact you make to try to make them reach a decision puts more blocks in the road to achieving that decision, whatever it is! And until they decide there is nothing substantive to worry about they will continue to hold the very records that might, if we are lucky, unlock the money flow in the future.

Frankly, if I were BM, (and I'm not), I think I would waltz off into the sunset with whatever funds I could access and say "f**k the lot of you, you are more trouble than you are worth".

It is time to grow up, and face up to one very real reality:

PIPS will survive, or fall, without any input from any of us, except Bryan..

And the corollary to that fact is:

The more we put our spoke into the situation with BNM, the LESS LIKELY IT IS WE WILL EVER SEE ANYTHING FROM PIPS!!!!!

WELL Graham....i don't know how many spokes were put into the siuation,but it seems like BNM has come up with 41 counts of money laundering against dear ole Bryan/james or whatever name he is going by this week...ohh and also his lovely wife Sharon....so i don't know about that waltz off into the sunset just yet with all of OUR PIPS MONEY just yet...and instead of him F***ing the lot of us,its maybe he will be getting f***ed in that 12 by 12 room that he alwyas complained about that he and Sharon were supposedly living in....what goes around comes around.....Pat
