Thread: My Follow-up with BNM Investigation Officer

When the final verdict comes, all of us will know.
No point knowing some secret "insider's news" which will lead
to more speculations.
We all have stakes in this PIPS saga, but let's just wait
for the final green (maybe red) light from BNM.

No, James. It means only that there is an investigation going on and the investigators have sent questionnaires (to malaysian citizens only - just in case you haven't read that point) ;). Your conclusion-question may be reasonable for many and understandable (but not sure) to me, it's only an assumption you would not rely upon too much.
At this point, this investigation has not given any information or proof pro or contra about whether or not you have losses and certainly not about the chance you can recoup the assumed losses if any.
From that point on, you can seel members' opinions range from pessimistic to optimistic. I prefer to give it the benefit of the doubt and time... no much more we can do.
The best advise I can give you IF you can't put this case aside for a while untill there's some official news coming out, is to keep yourself informed. There's plenty of food spread all over the place (unfortunately flooded and covered by assumptions and possibly fake reports) - but I'm sorry I can't help guiding you through all this.

Well, this subject has gone on and I guess it will go on for
some time until we hear the verdict from BNM.
All this speculation and posturing gets nowhere as usual.
the final "proof" will come with the decision ....
and so we wait.

Thanks for the info but I don't know anything about questionnaires. Have I missed something important as I haven't filled one out? I'm really worried now.

please create a habit to read through a topic first, before you ask questions, because (not your fault but) you are about the sixth or seventh (and unfortunately probably not the last) asking the very same question... and this habit of people to just post right away without any reading gets on the nerves of several people here (including me actually).
The answer to your question: the questionnaire is reported only to have been sent to Malaysian citizens. So you haven't missed anything. (highlighted hoping others with the same question read this before they post - don't take this too personal ;)).

If you want questionnaires.... try this one (Adobe 4,0 and higher recommended), take a day off filling it to yr heart's content....


A word of caution... I hope you are fit and in control of yourself when you get past the first page....
