So what if people saw that as a way to make money. THAT'S THE WHOLE POINT OF BEING A MERCHANT!! I don't think that the fact that some people decided to start this kind of business is the problem. once again, the time frame was not respected by picpay!! It's not because you are a new business that you are a crook!

Working for the government, I can assure you it has EVERYTHING to do with your taxes. Simply put, the government does not trust you!!They don't trust people to state all their revenu or taxable benefits period. SO if you buy for 100,000$$ worth of VISA card and you don't put that money as a taxable event, the government ¨loses¨ approx. 30,000$ in taxes. So they want to prevent that and that is one of the reason so many benefits are being cut in recent years.

That is a good point as at the end of the day it would have helped many out in many ways as you rightly say "start a few on the ladder to business and help members to get something out"

For some us who have businesses already it has just caused a major headache! with extra stock - working hours - chasing payments etc etc and no communication. If they had done what they said in the beginning it would have been plain sailing for everybody.

That's the way PIPS has been doing business from the get go. start a bunch of things all at the same time then losing control over important issues. Solidify your business then add on!! But hey I'm just a member

And it is only a fool that trusts the government. Well they have to payoff the Federal Reserve, a private company, with our tax money for loans printed from fresh air.
