I am new to moving money about all over the world,
So I would like to understand the options.
I believe option 1 is a WT from PicPay direct to our own Bank and no 2 is a WT to VAT then it can be WTd to my bank or using a debit card retrieve it fron a cash point.
I am somehow sensing from what I am reading that the latter is probably going to be the most popular, even though it is more long winded and incurrs more fees.
So am I sensing that the VAT route when it stars is going to be quicker than a direct transfer from PicPay to my own Bank Account.

If and when VAT starts, that will be the best way to WD. Basically though we are all in a holding pattern.

denim,
I believe that you won't be able to withdraw from P**P** directly, everything will go via VAT. That means is we will all open an account with them once it is up and ready and once we have funds in our P**P** account we will withdraw it from our VAT account. They will take it from P**P** and our account with P**P**. The other route is ordering a debit card through them and withdrawing from a cash machine.
My own interpretation is that BM will have to transfer millions to VAT in order for the backlogs to be cleared. Also don't see any reason why once it is all up and running that the backlog can't be cleared within days.
Seems to be so much better and quicker than any bank/banks. So fingers crossed.

I am as hopeful as the next guy, but it seems as though VAT is far from being a done deal.... I hope that I am wrong in this, but from what I am able to gather from reading other people's view on this, Vat is not a done deal at all but is still sitting on Bryan's desk awaitng his approval. What Bryan is waiting on God only and Bryan knows but I hopeful that something positive will happen very soon.

There have been a couple of posts from others saying he has signed it and they're testing batches. Just rumours, believe what you like.

I heard in other messages that you won't be able to pay the VAT fees with picpay.
So probably you will have to pay that by creditcard or bank wire.
I won't mind paying one year in advance, if it means I will be able to withdraw my picpay funds
Keepin'my fingers crossed, and hoping to hear some good news soon

I read it myself when it was earlier released for notification, the first 6 months are borne by costs not originating/sourced from, through PicPay.
Getting to be keen on this alternative myself, I am considering applying TWO cards each, thus 4 cards between my partner and myself so the amount is "quadrupeld" when each attemp is executed to the maximum that the "wailing" wall can bear for the day....LoL.
Btw, if if one has to pay for the cards and feees, it's peanuts to moan over it when the machine chucks out those bills.... :D :D
YB.
