    How do you KNOW this...?

And THIS statement as you suggest the REASON for being in Pips:
"...to pay medical bills or to put food on the table..."

    This IS ridiculous IMHO...

Largo and Tiiger, my fellow Swedes...
I think you are mistaken. A lot of people probably invested (loaned) into pips as a last possibility. I know I am one of them.
Ok, I can still buy food for my kids, as I could then, but I was always STRUGGLING to be able to SOMETIMES do a little extra - like bying pizza from a pizzeria...
And investing with pips - really causing me to NOT be able to do the extra things - gave me hope of being able to do it in the future.
Really, this applies to everything. Say I can't pay for my house...I have money for one or two months, but after that I won't have ANY and will have to sell my house ANYWAY. So then it is quite logical (at least in my head) that you take that money that you have and put it into pips, explain to the mortage company that you will be a little late for a month, and then you HOPE that the money you put into pips will make it possible for you to keep the house.
You know the saying about give a man a fish or teach him to catch his own fish...
Please, do NOT bash people ( calling them stupid etc) for having loaned into pips in spite of maybe not being able to afford it. (Really, those that CAN afford to lose money don't NEED more money!)

Desperate situations lead to desperate actions...
    Karin

Everyone HAS THEIR OWN legitimate reasons and between Largo to Karin with Tijger on the loose...to many more kangaroos or Kiwis walking this planet.... some Alaskans too has a reason why they would rather stay out and away from the traditional igloo if they can help it, with PIPS once being the shining Northern Star!!!.

Nothing is more profound between each and any one's own idea of PIPS being a "light at the end of the tunnel" should it provide and fulfill those "wishful thoughts" all stretched out....

All has a valid reason to make a better life...hoping that the "halo" for hope is within reach!

However, you may have more mouths served and feel less limited if you buy your Pizza from the supermarket.... but when I want one quickly and at any odd hour , I'll head for Pizza Hut instead...by them, the Chef has no excuse to go napping for a siesta...

Thats true too as to what Karin advised, please don't belittle or bash others just because they cannot see you or touch you in life while not being alligned to your thinking and preferences...only cowards do that and that IS NOT nice either to think you are the smart arse or wise Alex on everything... no one is! Unless you are another cheapskate hanging about Forums to be heard....instead of polite exchanges and making friends, genuinely.

Hope this finds you well Karin....

Do not make things personal...Keep your comments about others neutral...EW

Reason I hang around here is not just for Pips news, but most important to share moments with good friends and people with faith, honesty, good character.

Pips is family, for you to know, and is very healthy organization.

If you do not have any beliefs in Pips future, that what is your point hang around here.

    Largo,

I wish you'd be a little more considerate and stop calling ridiculous (without having any foundation) the post you don't agree with.

You are asking how do I know it? I don’t know that for sure therefore I used the word "probably". What I can guarantee you is that I was a strong believer in Bryan (and I still want to be) and I spreaded word of Pips to my friends, coworkers and aquitances. Guess what? The ones who joined were those who were making efforts to meet their daily needs (food on the table and paying bills). They lived from one salary to other (if they were lucky to have a job). And some of them couldn’t indeed afford to pay for the medication because they didn’t have insurance. The well ones were leafing in my face and saying that I am gullible and that all the internet programs are scams.

    Way2GO:

You are 100% correct....do you ever see lines of rich people lined up at the variety store to buy lottery tickets? It is the last hope for those who are existing paycheque to paycheque. Pips was supposedly started to help the ordinary person create a better future for themselves and then in turn, help others who were less fortunate.

The rich have their own methods of making money and for some reason, I thought I had finally found what would be my "end of the rainbow". A series of misfortunes led me to Pips and I believed everything that Bryan said. Meanwhile, other members of my family saw it as an opportunity to take money from the desperate.

As for Largo inferring that we should have joined for the charity and not think of ourselves, well, there are plenty of starving people in my own home town that I would help first before sending money on the internet as charity.

You are using the money to buy commodities for you and others (if available).”

Where did I ever say this…read my postings again and show me where I stated this…

How can you come to this conclusion…?

Please read my posts again and explain to me if I’m doing this in the posts “I Don’t Agree with…”

    AND PLEASE….STOP twisting what I write…

AND PLEASE…STOP post generalities about me as a person…

    Regards
