no need to try to explain. my work takes me into the poorest region of America. Many of the people I serve, have no homes... NO HOMES. Some sleep in broken down cars... some under bridges.... the ones that do have homes often do not have running water, or electricity. I have known people who feed their children a spoon full of peanut butter for a meal sometimes that is all they get! I go into detention centers and work with 12 year old children who are addicted to meth and have no family to speak of. I see 16 year old mothers who can not read ... with tiny babies to care for.... THAT IS WHAT I DO FOR A LIVING!!... I give them hope ... I find them help... I educate them on how to get the necessities to LIVE... just live, no investments, no travels to Portugal... eat and stay warm... the basics... sometimetime I travel hundreds of miles in a day to bring help.... my car is old and has many miles on it.... I am a single mother of two... I went back to school when I was 36 yrs old so I could get qualified to help these people... my people who are less fortunate!!!
How dare you assume I don't know what a word of hope can or cannot do!!!
No need to worry about offending me either.... you already have... let's hear your credentials mister 'hope can cause harm'...
I live it EVERYDAY!!!! I see the need for it... without hope... we are lost!

I truelly hope this is some sort of misunderstanding... perhaps your grasp of the English language has you confused...

I think he has a full understanding of English mouse...His syntax was too good. Therefore, there could be no misunderstanding. He's just out to scold us for stating the obvious. To put it in street terms, "I got your back, sis". Get him.

Don't apologize Second Mouse! Not only are you completely entitled to say what's on your heart, but it seems there is an awful lot of "presuming" that goes on here, and you brought it to light.

I do not need to have any credentials to show everybody just to have the right to make my point - thats all. (My point is both well written and simple.)
I am sorry for offending you - no harm ment from my behalf. That is not an excuse - because I am the one to blaim anyhow.
Hope - as I see it - is harming those who now is desperate - waiting for PIPS to return. If you cant see it - it is not my dilemma! I simply disagree with you - nothing else. Keep it as simple as possible.

Ladies and Gentlemen.........Please stay calm......we are all in the same shoes.....I,myself,have only been inPIPS last quarter of 2004 and in fact have never had withdrawals form the legal way(through banks,that is),only through friends who wanted to get in faster through picpay funds.But just the same,I still believe in what Bryan said that"PIPS WILL BE BACK".Why???...bcoz,I have been in some other internet programs before and when those programs foldsed,the owner/s ran away and disappeared with no trace at all.Even from the start of those programs,ADMINS were anonymous(neither physical adresses nor phone #,if ever ,contact # are fake).I remember once with Foreign Fund's contact #,a member tried to call their number and it was actaully a beauty shop.With FLO,even the moderators never knew the real identity of Xavier(FLO's admin),and who knows,he might be one of us here.I am a single parent too and little money my late spouse left for our children's future were put into PIPS in good faith.I am also as poor as a rat right now, only able to surf bcoz I was able to pay advance for internet,I hope PIPS will be back before I go off lined . :<

Wow..this piece struck me like lightning. You know what? This is exactly what pips was all about; helping the needy. Thats what convinced me to join pips even though I had never done any investing before at all. That's also why I am relatively calm when it comes to the outcome. When pips comes back it is not only the people who have invested who will be better off. I hope when pips comes back people will remember this period and look around realizing there are a lot more people who have no way out. Hope it will make an impact beyond "I've got my money, goodby".
