BM I have been in the progam since March 2005. I have not recieved a dime, but I know I will in due time. I joined the program so I would be able to help other people in bad situations. So, I agree in the ideals thats pips were founded on and I should hope that the ideals be carried foward to tomorrow and beyond.

May God be with us in our journey,
    Herman

I miss those days. I remember how many people came to the forum to ask for help (non-pipsters) and they were benefactored an account and then it was funded for them by generous Pipsters. At Christmas they would send them toys for the children.

All the good works that were done by two Pipsters in particular (I won't name them here) who collected endlessly for people who needed help with their family health, homes, children ..... you name it .... the list was endless and they did it with such good cheer.

THOSE WERE THE PIPSTERS. I used to shed tears of joy just to see what this community could achieve working with a common bond and with love in their hearts.

Unfortunately you are not able to see the original pips forum that really highlighted the caring family spirit that abounded in the pioneers. Obviously the money is a factor but it was not for them the most important factor, it was about caring and helping others.

Through the pips community we saw people getting cancer treatment, children getting lifesaving operations, old people getting help and a real sense of togetherness.

These are the ideals that pips was founded on and those ideals still carry today and will carry forward to tomorrow and beyond.

Totally agree Bryan, good memories. Complete selfless examples of "people helping people" which helped build a strong comradaree among members and a strong "caring" foundation for PIPS.

This truly is the spirit of PIPS and shows what PIPS is all about...caring, sharing, togetherness and realized hope.

A very special time indeed and looking forward to the same in the future.

They were better days weren't they. Hopefully we will see them again in the near future. While the earnings were just growing for most PIPS members, the members were so giving. A lot of members had new accounts back then, and I remember the Christmas that the gentleman came into the forum without funds, and had so many children to feed without a way to do it. Not only was he gifted a membership, local members also took him food and presents for his children on Christmas day so that he and his family could have a good Christmas. Just one of the many many stories from pips past that warm the heart.

Exactly. My account was earning $8 usd a day and yet I would send a day's ROI to somebody just to help out. I thought about that family (was it Iraq Vet?) over this Christmas and wondered how they were doing.

Oh and how they helped the less well off Pipsters fill convention seats too, for those that desperately wanted to go and couldn't. The list is endless and it was the Pipsters (well Bryan chipped in too now and then) not the Pips company that did all this - it had never been seen on the internet before or since.

    Amen!

Bryan... at this moment I'm trying to contribute my two cents to such initiative which is truly drenched in this pips spirit... with members putting aside their personal aspirations up to 100% in order to help needy pipsters , among others through the lotto program.

I don't go into detail here because I want to respect Marek's request not to promote other fora (so I want his approval first if he finds time to answer)... Moreover, we have to clarify some misunderstandings and mistakes which might jeopardize the outcome... and the concept isn't fully finalised yet (although the goal is clear ).

But I couldn't resist to mention it again... (1) hoping this is (no matter how small a grain of sand this initiative is) a little encouragement for you & all those others who want to make this world a better place too...
    Best regards,
    Hasse
