I believe BNM is not delaying the investigation but as what other posts earlier mentioned, BNM is run by ordinary humans like you and I, so they can't be working to death for so many pips accounts in like, what, 3 months can they? Not forgetting there are thousands and thousands of other matters that these investigators could be dealing with, such as merging of major local banks and the new Islamic banking sector that the country is aggresively promoting?

Oriental people tend to do things much faster than you can imagine. It's a well-known fact. Yes oriental people live longer for no apparent reasons. If you don't believe me, pay a visit to some booming Asian countries, and in this case, visit KL, where BNM is located.

A bit racist? Well yes in the sense that I made reference to a race of people. But racist as in feeling superior to another race? Definitely NOT. Hey my Farther is British, my Mother French, Russian Grand farther and Italian Grand Mother and I was born on the African continent. What does that make me? LOL. Honestly, I’ve had sufficient experience to different cultures and race, that on a personal level it isn’t in any way an issue with me.
Working in the Aviation industry and dealing with all regions of the planet, I came to realize that not all areas of the world operate at the same pace. It has been my experience that Asian counties generally function at a slower place than in the west.
That is not just my opinion but of everyone I worked with. I don’t see this as a put down but merely recognizing a different way of dealing with things, that is all.
Yes I am aware that Malaysia for example is a country experiencing tremendous growth and although I have not had the pleasure of visiting Kuala Lumpur, I do know people that have and tell of it being a vibrant city going through a lot of development. Take something I’m more familiar with, I do know for a fact that Malaysian airlines is one of the worlds top carriers with one of the most up to date fleet of aircraft and is a highly efficient and well run organization. So please, do not interpret what I said as suggesting that part of the world as being backward or inferior. I trust I have cleared up this misunderstanding?
Regarding Bank Negara Malaysia – BNM. I have a reasonable understanding of what it does. I receive on average three updates daily on latest developments concerning BNM. I have this set up because of an investment in Malaysia (not PIPS) and I try to keep an eye on what may be going on in the business world there.
I’ve read the various comments and opinions why the investigation by BNM seems to be taking so long. I accept that if the investigation requires examining each and every PIPS and Picpay account, well that could be a lengthy process I imagine. I believe PIPS is a fair sized organization but really, we’re not dealing with an investigation into General Motors here.
Yes I do feel frustrated that BNM apparently seized control of PIPS months ago, have never given an adequate reason why they did so and continue to say nothing or offer any indication of what progress may have been made etc etc. My main source of hope that eventually everything will be ok is that Bryan and Sharon are going ahead with what they can do in the mean time. Reading Bryans recent and upbeat posts I guess he has a bit more insight than can be revealed to us right now.

Bryan also knows the head of the Malaysian SEC and has went to dinner parties with him on several different occasions. So I am sure all of these factors are playing a part for Bryan and Pips at the moment and that is a good thing......
Were you there at KL to witness the fashion show and the opening of the Bistro? I doubt even Malaysians know how their Kings look like in real life.

You surely do know a lot of insider info. What did Bryan eat at the dinner party, mind telling me?

It makes sense that I interpreted that the King was insulted because the previous post implied that the King has something to do with this delay. What, the King of Malaysia needs to hook up with PIPS to make a living? Malaysians are rich enough to support the king(s). Being a king's friend doesn't help much in Malaysia, all you possibly get is the glamour.

Thanks for clearing up my doubts :) I believe that even if BNM is to be blamed, it won't help much in resolving this PIPS issue. I do hope that December'05 is the happiest month I have since last year though.

    Cheers buddy!

Reading Chester's latest assessment from his perspective, I cannnot agree more by adding / supporting the fact about Bryan's insight and however much or little (like many assumes his tight-lipped position) he may actually know, I for one won't really bother gathering datas or facts to circumvent progress even at this long drawn procrastination (as itmight appear to many unfortunately incl BM himself) is taking as it is now a clear fact from the corner of BNM, they hold the strings and is the only Banker/player if you will, to dictate which cards come onto the deck as to the order of priority.

This mess we (PI Inc) got into is the result of several key issues, one and mainly, the corrupted ex-Staff members that played their role with the conspiracy from outside who are or shall be ex pipsters once all are determined and the respective accounts seized and terminated....after what is left of their ROl is taken into consideration and to cover all outstanding legal costs that brought us to this standstill.!!!

On the issue of Racist??? What a laugh!!! I can relate to the position of Chester.... and he knows what he is in and goes through as long as he continues to meet and have a broad circle of multi-cultured friends and relatives around.... it s overwhelming to be privileged in knowing a multitude of differing cultures and yet keep pace with the diversity of their richness and respect they all exert unlike those that are "cacooned" in one solitary place and never gets to travel or meet or try to make friends from other cultures...otherwise they would know what the term, racist,
is an ugly word to use out of context.

Hope we meet someday Chester, over a pint of Guinness or more ...Cheers mate and to you Vince, I wish you a Merry Christmas too and hang in there...all will celebrate well with plenty of colours to talk about and also to help those in need when the time arrives!
