How long does it take for a bunch of qualified auditors to run through PIPS and PicPay affairs? A month, two months at the most I would have thought. I have to wonder how much longer BNM is intending to drag this out. I hope people in the Orient live a very long time because it seems to take them forever to do anything.
Of course I realize nobody here can possibly know the answer. I guess I’m just venting my exasperation at what seems a case of dragging feet.
This is my 3rd post. I hope you didnt really mean what you said becoz it sounded abit racist to me. BNM, as its name suggests, is the Central Bank of Malaysia. Imagine a bank that governs not only the banking affairs of the country, but also playing a very important role in managing monetary policies of a country. I believe BNM is not delaying the investigation but as what other posts earlier mentioned, BNM is run by ordinary humans like you and I, so they can't be working to death for so many pips accounts in like, what, 3 months can they? Not forgetting there are thousands and thousands of other matters that these investigators could be dealing with, such as merging of major local banks and the new Islamic banking sector that the country is aggresively promoting?

Oriental people tend to do things much faster than you can imagine. It's a well-known fact. Yes oriental people live longer for no apparent reasons. If you don't believe me, pay a visit to some booming Asian countries, and in this case, visit KL, where BNM is located.

This has been the most abused method in US as example, yet in Malaysia, not even one public announcement for almost two months, and then only a blip on their website saying nothing more than investigation is ongoing.

Simply amazing, no updates, no release to news media, no information at all of any use, one way or another, and this is so unlike US that it isn't funny. (g) So all we can do is wonder why. We have seen GINS attacked and seized assets, jailed owner, etc., and now delay after delay on trial or hearings, so this I can understand, as this is similar to US injustice system.
Then we see Plexpay CEO get arrested and jailed for a month, again, all assets seized, delay and delay, again, Norway operates same as US, as does AU and UK from past research. So the question is, why is Malaysia different?
I wonder if it had anything to do with Bryan's relationship with King? (g)

    Good luck to all, Mike
Yes because that is Malaysia, not the US. I believe the US way of doing things works perfectly for the Americans. Likewise the Malaysian ways of doing things have their own reasoning. They are just different. PERIOD.

The King of Malaysia does not need PIPS to survive. To link up PIPS with the King is simply silly. In Malaysia, even the King is bound by the law. You can sue the King if you want.

    Cool Relac lah, brother..!!

In Malaysia, their modus operandi is "Relec lah, brother..!!" (locals famous saying, meaning "just relax & take a chill pill"...sit under a coconut tree and watch the world pass by..

    Cheers

Find out who the First Finance Minister of Malaysia is (Malaysia has two treasurers in the cabinet) and you'll know why even any friendships with him could not possibly be of advantage to any party.

On a side note, BNM is under the administration of Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz, world's Central Bank Governor of the Year 2005, not the Finance Minister of Malaysia.

    Hello, vincekua,
you know... as long as they're open minded... I shouldn't blame people for what they don't know... even if that can be pretty hard sometimes - you better educate them ;-). Like with bringing in some facts here, like you did. Thank you for that,

Uh I think you missed the whole point Mike was trying to make. He did not say that the "King needed Pips". Bryan is personal friends with one of the "Kings of Malaysia" (its my understanding that there are a few different ones???) and this certain King actually was at the opening of the Bistro and the Pips Fashion show. Bryan also knows the head of the Malaysian SEC and has went to dinner parties with him on several different occasions. So I am sure all of these factors are playing a part for Bryan and Pips at the moment and that is a good thing......
