Well I disagree with what you people are telling him to do....
1) BNM already know he is a malasyan and he invested on PIPS after whatever the new agreement says if it was allowed or not to malasyans
2) If he dont cooperate with BNM they could force them with supoema for the preliminary audience, and this would make him look suspicious by the BNM agents.
So take my suggestion, cooperate with all you can with BNM. Dont be a fool and shut your mouth just because others says, if you already received a letter it means they are formally asking you and is the first formal step for you to cooperate with them, and I can asure you they will force you to cooperate them, otherwise they wouldnt sent you a letter, they will just call you by phone or talk to you in person to cooperate, a verbal ask to cooperate, now a letter is a whole different letter so it can complies with Malasyan Laws and rights.
PS: Im a lawyer.

BN is just investigating PICPAY only in connection with the possible violation of the Malaysian financial and banking laws. I think it is OK for Rider to cooperate with BN re:how he becomes a member of PICPAY although he is a Malaysian national living in Malaysia. It looks like that PIPS at least is very legit, which is a very good thing.

It won't hurt to talk to your own lawyer there who will be familiar with your laws and can advise you on what your options are. We all just have opinions here. Don't let us decide your fate here. Let your lawyer help you.
