Stop assuming and stop trying to set the mood here.
It always amazes me how easily zombie-questions are ressurected and posted as legitimed concerns. This has been a thread a mile long a few months back. All the while the answer has been given a long time ago. After the BNM investigation you will have your answer first hand. Yes, it IS as simple as that.

I agree that it was on the site and of course that does give members the right to ask! We all know however that updating web pages was not a strong suit as has been seen with other issues in the past.

I wonder if this (backing by gold) was necesssary in the end and correcting the website was overlooked? After all until the Merchant scheme started there was no need for anything other than load the Picpay account by the amount of the members withdrawals every week and so surely there would have been no need to tie up capital in a gold reserve to enable Picpay to fulfil that function?

Members do seem to be worried about it so I just thought someone might be able to cast some light

    Hi.

Perhaps it is time to read Bryan's message again, here it is:

    -------------------------------------------------------

    Just Want To Say Thanks

    Hi Everyone.

Sharon and I just wanted say thank you to everyone for their support.

I cannot say much about what is happening, due to the legal issues, but I can say that we are working extremely hard to get everything resolved with BN.

The longer it goes the more difficult it becomes, but I can assure you one way or another we will get the money back to you all.

In the words of Arnie - I'LL BE BACK

Keep the faith and thank you all again.

    Bryan
    --------------------------------------

Take particular NOTE of what he said:

but I can assure you one way or another we will get the money back to you all.
    ************************************************** **********

So let's all just wait and see.

Speculation on whether PICPAY is backed by Gold or Not, is immaterial, because at this Time, it is just simply Speculation.

    Cheers.

Bryan could end all speculation by answering my question which, incidently, was aimed at him and no one else.
