No need for name calling paddyfield

In fact, drgibble has a valid question.Has anyone here been in a "paying" HYIP long term programme ? One thats lasted 3 or more years ?

All the ones I know have either collapsed or are about to.......

This is really uncalled for, paddyfield, and I suggest you delete that wording. I do not see any link to Owen here at all, matter of fact.

I agree with Dreamer and drgibble on the shortlivedness of many programs.
(As I am typing this an ad has appeared on the left "Riding the Ponzi"; how very appropriate.)

If there was such a thing as an honest non-Ponzi sustainable program it could really rake it in by attracting many members, as obviously the demand is huge. People would (hopefully!) feel much better knowing they are not receiving someone else's hard earned money in a cashout.

    Hi Mrdome,

I really think that a non-ponzi sustainable program does exist but it does not attract many because it grows at a much slower pace. For example: Fixed Deposits and certain type of Bonds are safe but I think that's not what most investors had in mind.

Opening a business, although not risk free is another way of investing in a sustainable program. But I myself has been burned many times after PIPS but luckily it was just under USD2000, unluckily PIPS has gotten ALL my money. Hence now I just steer clear of any HYIPs.

I believe if you have $$$ lying around to invest, just put most of it in the bank and take out like 15% and go to a casino rather than play Hyips. If you win big, send a commision my way for the advice! *kiddin abt the commission*

    Take care mate.

Must be a slow weekend. Still waiting for all those massive testimonials from folks that made money from ANY Hyip (sorry, owners of HYIPs, and friends of owners are not eligible to post testimonies).

Waht really funny, is the posts that suggest NOT investing in HYIPS, usually have a trailer in the message, about promoting another HYIP. Go figure.

The guy should ask his questions elsewhere, this is the PIPs forum is it not, and if you dont see an alternative motive perhaps my quip was right after all.

    yo paddyfield,

I know this a PIPS forum, although rarely are the posts about PIPS. I was a PIPS investor, and liken it to all other HYIPS out there, and am wondering if ANYONE EVER gained from investing in any of them, as with PIPS.

Hope that clears it up for you.

Do some research, about any of the threads started in this folder. Very rarely do they stay on track about the title. More times than not, they end up promoting another HYIP (signature, etal)

There is no alterior motive. I was asking for proof of anyone gaining anything from a HYIP, such as PIPS.

There's more conspiracy theories here, than about the JFK shooting.

    Cheers

Can anyone offer proof about any one "investment" that they made, that actually paid off? Of course, this is not a question for RC mods, just for the plain and simple "investor" of such programs.

It would be nice to know if any "non-involved investor" ever made a nickel out of any of the proclaimed "investments".
A fair question no matter who promoted a program. Seems every forum has a graveyard of failed programs but we always come back for more looking for that one big payoff. Of course if you can get in and get out very fast with a large investment, then you can make a large profit but it takes guts and great timimg to do that. Investing guidelines have been posted many times.

YMMSS. Don't know to much about that, except it lasted a while but is now dead ! Cycler wasn't it ? Some sort of religious connection ? Nobody posted any "long termers" that are still going. No surprise there!

Anyway, OP gets a lot of flack for nothing Paddy. Pips failed all by itself.
