If you are a sensitive person by nature, you will interprete it as sarcasm... thats common and I can live with that. If you are as hard core en die-hard a demon (some do refer me after knowing me) as such I may switch easily into, then sarcasm is quite an understatement for your situation...

As others have kindly pointed out for your research, don't take it too hard... live is aplenty and I wish you all the best for your own course.

Now, here is some breaking news!!!

Bryan Marsden is FREE and in The UK already!!!

    Hi Everyone,

I am equally stunned but not surprised however, am VERY much curious as to the consequences of their fate....

Yes, Bryan was recently released behind a rather conspicuous arrangement that took place earlier than anticipated despite all the attention surrounding his release date to be in March 2010 but it now appears, he got himself (or both with Sharon) wiggled out based on the good behaviour theory en the likes that somehow shortened his term by another two months above his remission allowance.

Should he be tracked down in UK, or the Bahamas, besides AUS and/or NZ as the likely places to go in search of his "lost treasure", ... I wish them all the luck in staying and surviving long enough to enjoy some life.... for there are bad blood from wrecked nerves willing to have answers sorted out with missing millions still unaccounted for.

What is about to take place in Malaysia, is unprecedented for that country. What is more interesting is, your Claim and disbursement on the approved amount, considered as "what was recovered and made available after the necessary Govt Taxes, Excise and Duties and all that goes along with it", be made available, isn't necessarily over & settled outside Malaysia.

Your money is still part of the entire amount that The Marsdens once collected and wherever it gets spread across the globe, you have a a significant share of that spread and you may, with the proof that was recognized as legit by one Govt, may strongly be accepted for continuation in another country.

The submission on your right of Claim in Malaysia positions you favorably elsewhere too and those that waited and stayed on the sidelines contemplating or remaining hesitant, their chances are very VERY....slim while YOU ALL stand way in advance for the proof and work has already been presented and recognized, until your entire amount is refunded... so, I wish you all the best for more to come wherever the Marsdens are faced with a trial...yet again.

    YB.
    YogiBrood,

Thank you for the news and could you place me on a list of people willing to Contcat Brian Marsden, in regards to funds and if he will be continuing ????

Default Our day in court is fast approaching

Hi members, just want to reassure the members that have place their trust on Yogi and me that we will do our best. It's been a awful experience and I feel like punching the next person with an investment scheme to present to me as do most of us. I am slowly but surely trying to get back on my feet, I want to do this then forget I ever knew PIPS.

Still, I don't want to forget all the contacts and friends I have made here. I also will not forget how all of you help me, your kind wishes and your encouragement. For some of us, maybe there will be a bittersweet ending but for a majority of ex-PIPS investors nothing but bitterness.

I have but one piece of advice, "what's gone is gone and broken dreams are just that." Forget your losses and dream new dreams and work towards it. Slowly but surely, life must go on. The world is our oyster, there's money to be made albeit legal. So let's go out an sieze the day. "Live like you're dying...." - Adam Lambert (AI winner) song aplty playing in the background while I am typing this.

For those of you that want to visit Penang, you are most welcome. The island beckons you. The room rates are cheap and your guide is here. Hope you don't mind that I am "spotted" a bit now. Please let me know if you need any writing work done. I can supply articles on happenings from Penang and Malaysia in general.

    Cheers.

Smile It was an amazing time

It's been a while since I posted on here, but as the situation is now done and dusted I thought I'd say something.

Firstly, I (and all of us) should extend a huge amount of gratitude to my friends Batty and Yogi, for their tireless dedication to covering the trial, raising the funds to do so, and putting themselves and their family at massive inconvenience on behalf of the ROLClub members. Batty, if I ever find myself back in Malaysia, I will be making my way up to buy you a drink.

Secondly, I would like to express my hope that those of you who are pursuing court claims do recover some of your money. I myself decided not to bother. I did lose, but it was worth paying for the lesson learnt. And it must be said that whilst PIPS was in full swing - those were good times. I have never seen such hope, optimisim and general fun on the internet since! Dreaming of riches, playing with the simulator spreadsheets, waiting for a withdrawal... I was lucky I got some of my money back out, but only because I had a friend in KL with a Malaysian bank account who received the money for me and sent it on.

Thirdly it must be admitted the doubters were correct. Some of you may remember Owen Platt. It has been some time since I had any communication with him, but I heard he was suffering with cancer and undergoing Chemotherapy. I don't know of his current situation and Google is not turning up anything recent of use.

Forthly, if BM is back in the UK... does anyone have his address?
    G'day all,

I like many have silently watched the ongoing evolution of what we all knew as PIPS. While I have also had some difficulty in recovering from my losses, I do have to agree with Nej. It was a time of great jubilation, of dreams dreamed and a feeling of helping others. I couldn't wait to get onto the PIPS website to view how I was going. Yes I lost a lot, but in giving hope and opportunity to others, it lifted spirits, created an amazing community with many many wonderful people who genuinely believed in using PIPS to help those around them. It is these things that I hold onto, not the fact that it all fell apart. Call me naive, maybe, but what a ride, what a truly amazing experience to be part of such a motivating and passionate group of people, that in itself was worth it.

    Cheers from Down Under

The coverage on the trial began with a small following in this forum... something below the 500 of Ex-Pipsters, comprising both for and against the arrest and detention of Bryan Marsden and his wife, Sharon.

That number gradually trickled to a mere handful of dozens and eventually, when it became tentative as recognized by the Court last year in Nov, the list of Claimants remains to this day, barely under two dozen as listed.
Indeed it was... a long way threaded by these few who never gave up what they believed in... that it is theirs to retrieve whatever there is left aside and regulated by the Malaysian Authorities.

The List of Claimants cannot be added anymore. I don't and I am sure, no one will want nor expect to see or be teamed up with Bryan to start on another.... for he has more $$$$s to return if anyone still plans or wishes to follow up where he last left.... after his prison release in early January of this year.

Whereabouts remains unknown to Rolclub, last destination speculated after release in January 2010, is the UK, back to (birthplace) basics perhaps.

    Hi there
Like a previous response, I had no money or will to keep following this trial. I invested over £20000 and cannot believe that, despite following and checking everything for the first couple of years, that it is too late to claim. Please give me some guidance. Thank you in advance.
