I have again come across another attempt to hack our PayPal Account from an Aussie based member....

I will post his/her attempt as received in my MBox.

This time, I'm going to display to expose , so if you know or recognise the culprit, please assist with whatever information that may help us "rid" off these varmints trying to steal your donation!!!

It goes like this, I was suspicious anyway about this PayPal looking announcement to inform that there are funds deposited but no figures or sum is disclosed. I usually, apply the default approach, by checking it out on the account itself to see who this donor person is claiming to be, by their copy-pasting whatever previous reference they may have had fro elsewhere to make it look like the real thing...

Well, I'm already in my account so why would I need to again enter my password to access and see what, where and how much was deposited only after I again enter my password as this email suggested?

Of course, I DID NOT and this name isn't showing up in the PP acct either...

We are already very low on funds... and this kangaroo wants to try phish my password so he can steal yours and my money with this latest attempt!!! So there you go... anyone still new with PayPal, heed this.

Never fall for it, no matter how genuine looking it appears to be, to be sure, just access your account on your own accord and you will find, nothing is amiss or different as the scammer/phisher wants you to believe by clicking on his/her link provided to help you out...
IGNORE it and conduct it yrself with your own default link. Once in your account, you will see that there is no truth to that weasel's claim!!!

So, be on your guard as I have to all along ... by clicking on that link, it will trigger off automatically, your default account into the one they configured it themselves... this is like a trip-wire, so, being careful here is not enough... however, PayPal will follow up issueing an announcement that if you had changed or added a new acct email addy, you then have to confirm it by clicking the request link PayPal provided. Since you have not recall doing so, simply IGNORE that link too. And post the suspicious mail to PayPal for them to trace the attempting phisher who will soon lose his/her account eventually.

there are alot of threads concerning this person or topic or something i see,...can someone please explain what the heck all this is about to me? i received the email from admin saying about a trial for someone or something and have read through some of the threads, but i simply can not find any explanation as to what this is all really about,

so can someone please give me the details of what happened or what is going on?

Hi redlight,

Looking at your date of membership, I can safely advise you to either take no notice of the mass email sent out to "most" valid members of ROLClub, who were once and still are, involved with a past Program called PIPS (aka PI Inc)and that is now involving a court case unfolding in Malaysia.

The mass mail is to seek support for funds to cover the running costs on a very low budget approach.

You are not obligated to involve yourself as this has to do with many members that goes as far back in 2005.

Read on if you will... perhaps you may learn how to be careful too with plans & programs that offer incredible returns while that is almost a myth for a daily joke to conceive... hence the couple who is now standing trial for their part in whisking off many thousands of dollars.... from Investors believing in the program.

ok,...so it sounds like you all invested large amounts in this program and the admin did what?....he just left and ran away? obviously he is in jail now from the bit that i have read so how did that happen?

just how exactly did people get police to take action on this character?
