The truth is that we don’t know if the perpetuation of non-payments happened because of banks non-cooperation or because PIPS ran out of the money. Yes, HBS refusal to work with PIPS was real, but we have no indication that by that time PIPS had enough money to pay all the outstanding withdrawals and that in months that followed it kept producing the promised return.

Members who believe that the money was there have no proofs, members who believe that there was a shortcut of money have no proofs either.

The beliefs of the 2 parties are based on the same facts and they have equal weight, but neither of them can be validated until the BN will finish the investigation.

The sad part is that during this long, kept in dark wait, members are turning against each other.

This needs to get back on track. We are in the year 2004. And we are trying to keep this on the road. My apologies for taking it off the track...

    2004, conventions and Bryan

    Style,
I myself have tried in various forums over the past few months to talk to you about Bryan as have others. Do not, come here now and tell us that it would have been nice. One must open their eyes and their ears to hear what is being spoken.

    Back to 2004:

I have just gone through some of my old records on PIPS. Bryan was not just traveling for a couple of months in 2004, most of the year was taken up with his tour of the world. It wasn't until after the convention which was held in Las Vegas that the membership really started to explode. The Las Vegas convention was a pivotal point in the growth for PIPS. At the convention, there were members as well as others who wanted more information, who decided to 'crash' the venue although they were told it was sold out for many weeks before it started.
Hey, I don't appreciate you pointing out my bad memory. But come to think of it, it was longer than a month and a half. For me, knowing what I had for breakfast this morning is an acomplishment.

The Malaysian convention took place really, just as PIPS was being started. The 500 or so members who made the trip over to meet with Bryan and experience the PIPS launching were both dazzled and amazed that their lives were about to change for the better.

I will never forget the spotty internet access we had on the island of Lankawi at times as everyone wanted to check on their accounts and of course post in the forum.

Bryan however was very easy to catch and talk to and trips to the offices were made by many members. The girls were so helpful in solving whatever problems the members had and BURN was in charge of the office staff at the time I believe. He was very forthcoming and was very available to answer anything that members might want to ask of him. I still consider him to be one of the true good guys of the PIPS experience. I also think he is who exited because of his daughters illness.

After the island we went to Kula Lumpur and were once again treated as rolaity by the Malaysians. The entire convention time (9-10days) was truely a memory that I will never forget.

PIPS during this time was paying and the withdrawals were for the most part very much on time. I recieved several checks and wires during 2004 and felt very sure that the opportunity would last for quite sometime.

I was a member of Pure Investor, a member of the Clones MM1, MM2 twice) and yes had 5 PIPS accounts. Two of which I purchased myself. I was a mainstay in the PIPS forum and a true believer of Bryan's vision. The only problem I have ever had with Bryan was the lack of communication between the company and its membership base. I think for quite a while the pioneers were able to answer most questions for newer members until of course the slowdown and eventual stoppage of withdrawals took place.

Sorry to have rambled, but please...continue...this thread is quite interesting and needed by many.

    Azmia....you are so right....

the Las Vegas mini convention was something to behold....

standing room only.....and lined up in the halls....

I went to meet the man in charge...to find out for myself....as the others...who I was putting my trust in....and I...like the others....was not disappointed.

The mini conventions...were a pivital part of this story...

friendships cemented....of good people wanting to do good things...

and Then...the alliances that formed....now that's where it gets interesting...

Style, do you think that Bill Gates handles all the money for Microsoft! When you get big, you have to hire help and hopefully trust that they don't steal! Anybody in big business's knows this. Sure, small mom and pop stores don't need it, but when your talking millions or billions, you have to hire staff for this.

PIPSBELIEVER, it was Burn I was thinking about. Sorry I got his name wrong because he was a good guy.

Style I disagree, I think Bryan had it set up correctly, just a important part like Burn leaving in the midst of growing quickly caused Bryan to hire substandard help. Lord knows I've done it myself.
