    Talabani discusses with the Virtue Party efforts to accelerate the formation of next government

    President Jalal Talabani discussed with a delegation from the Virtue Party headed by its Secretary-General Hashem al-Hashemi, Tuesday, efforts to accelerate the formation of the next government, according to a presidential statement.

    In a statement received by agency (Voices of Iraq) a copy of it, that Talabani "Find this evening (Tuesday) with the delegation of the Islamic Virtue Party headed by its Secretary-General Hashim al-Hashimi, the totality of issues on the Iraqi arena, including efforts to quickly form the next government."

    The statement quoted Talabani reiterated that "as President of the Republic of playing the role assigned to him in bringing the views between the blocs and political leaders, and the need to strengthen alliances and the expansion of dialogue."

    The statement quoted Hashem al-Hashemi, "The political blocs in the beginning of an important stage based on a new type of hand, the coordination of positions among themselves up to form a government and nominate a prime minister," noting "it was discussed in the developments in the political process and matters detailed now scheduled for discussion between the political blocs such as coalitions and alliances, and form a government and prime minister."

    Talabani meets with Iraq's Permanent Representative to the United Nations

    he met with President Jalal Talabani at his residence in Baghdad, Tuesday, Dr. Mohammed Ali Al-Hakim, Iraq's Permanent Representative at United Nations Headquarters in Switzerland on the occasion of Mbacherth his new job at the headquarters of the international organization, according to a presidential statement.

    In a statement received by agency (Voices of Iraq) that "President Jalal Talabani met today (Tuesday), Iraq's Permanent Representative at United Nations Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, Mohamed Ali Hakim, who visited the occasion to bid farewell to Talabani and conduct of his new job at the international organization".

    Talabani urged during the meeting, Mohammed al-Hakim on the occasion of assuming his new job, to "deliver the voice of Iraq to the international forums and organizations, and to devote his experiences and expertise in international organizations in order to serve Iraq and Iraqis."     Question marks hovering over the loyalty of Iraqi forces despite their access to the readiness

    U.S. newspaper reported today that Iraqi forces have reached the degree of readiness positioned to carry out its functions, but you still question marks hovering over their loyalty.

    Mohammed Tamim: talks on forming the government, an internal Iraqi affair and discussion take place within Iraq and not outside

    Sirwan Zahawi: The Struggle for the post of prime minister could lead to the disintegration of some blocks

    State law and the National Coalition preparing to announce an alliance to form the next government

    U.S. denies transfer of Odierno from Iraq

    Denied spokesman for U.S. forces operating in Iraq reports that the transfer of the top U.S. commander in Iraq, General Odierno, to another place outside Iraq.

    Invitation to review the investment grants given to foreign companies in Iraq

    Called on the Prime Minister's advisor for economic affairs, peace-Quraishi, the provincial councils to review the minutes of grants given by the investment of foreign companies.
