Good advice, it is stressful when the news stops, but in my opinion, this is actually good news. We saw all the press releases about .67 to 3.22 in numerous articles, and although some were confused over the translations of articles, the bottom line is that those it was intended for understood what was being said, and in not one article was the specific term lopping used. Yes, we saw lifting, knocking off, removing, etc., but not lopping, and this is a specific currency term.

With all this hoopla over what it really means, one thing came thrugh loud and clear, it was designed to test the world market response, as in, fishing for input. What did we hear? Nothing, not a single statement other than about translation by those who are not involved in the politics here, testing the water, pure and simple, this was the reason for announcements. With no objections by neighboring countries, and in light that this release was just prior to major meetings aroung the Arab region, it was perfectly timed so that if there was any concerns over Iraq revalue, they would have heard it at these meetings.

The meeting I posted earlier is a perfect example. If there was an issue about proposed reval, believe me, we would have heard about it by now, but notice how quiet things have been for the last few days, nothing, zip, just news of killings, which is sadly normal news, so I think we are real close now, just my gut feeling, but what I see makes logical sense and validates what I had been hearing from Kurdistan where a meeting was also just held this past week when Maliki visited region. Now we know Maliki is heading to U.S, after a delay from proposed meeting this week. With Korea issue popping up, it was postponed to end of month, so all these little tidbits are a piece of puzzle as I see it. In short, don't get stressed, we are on track for revalue real soon, so stand by, relax, enjoy the anticipation and dreams that will soon come true.

Yes, not to worry, it is just another good signal to us all what is really going on behind the scenes. My direct sourse in Kuwait and Jordan are seeing severe shortages, and mostly with the smaller denominations, and I know dealers are out of the small notes, as SafeDinar is. I had a few people tell me this last week, so we see it across the board.

In addition, this isn't over once first revalue is made, it is just starting in my opinion, so Bruce is setting the wheels in motion for getting dinars stocked up for when this happens. There was talk of small internal revalue because of rising fuel cost in Iraq as the subsidies are removed, as per the agreement with neighboring countries to stop black market, and was s stiplulation of Arab debt being forgiven as we already heard it was. This I feel is to appease Iraqi citizens as an interim measure. This to follows the logic I have seen playing out, so hang in there, nothing to worry about.

When exchange is mentioned, Bruce is now a buyer of dinar as I read it, which makes sense as I have seen another company start to promote the exchange for dollars, in fact, I may just do the same thing. (g)

Dealer are in it to make money, this we know, and although there is not a ton of money to be made, just look at the potential as the dinar continues to rise. I predict many will cash out and many others will just learn about it and buy in, so this is far from over.

It took a couple years for Kuwait dinar to recover, and it is still rising, so Bruce was probably implying to exchange your dinar for dollars, not new dinar currency, for there is no new currency yet, other than the pending smaller denominations. Maybe he put his order in for smaller denoms. (g)
Why not email him and ask? I don't know him, so maybe it is another translation issue. LOL

Hmmmm..... I dont like the way that sounds..... IF the Iraqi government decides to print new bills? Sounds like to me that it is a possibility......

IMHO....which is all i have to go by...i think Mike is more along the lines of being correct....we have heard all kinds of things in the past 6 weeks about lifting,revalue.etc.etc.yadda,yadda,yadda.....do like he says.....take it easy....kick back.....fix yourself a toddy,grab a cold one,or get up and do the "LOONIE COONIE DINAR JIG.....lol...or as i do....all of the above....enjoy the ride.....all the stressful emotions will be worth it when it pegs......GO DINARS....Pat

All right, I woke up late this morning with a killer headache, took a couple of Advil, and came here to see what is going on? Now, I thought I was reading good news from cigarman, and Mike, but now the news doesn't seem so good! It could be I am reading it wrong, which I hope I am, but are we saying that some dealers are expecting a reprint now? Or are they spilling that because there is such a shortage, and they want people to sell back to them, so they have more to sell when this thing hits small, and they can resell for big bucks? Can someone toss me a line here? I need it spellled out nice and clear, because my head is still a little foggy!

Cheer up Eore and don't feel like the lone ranger. We both have the same problem. I remain excited about the possibilities but these dates and deadlines have come and gone and I fear that this one may as well. I sure hope not but who can really know?

There's so much going on over there right now and it is clear to me that the United States, as well as others are determined to make the Iraqi government a success but who really can say with accuracy all the little details that must be finalized before the revalue can happen.

My problem is just simple ignorance, I mean, I just don't understand all the variables that could cause a postponement of the revalue and I'm worried that something may occur to do just that.

The good news as I see it is this, I can see absolutely no reason that the revalue will not happen sooner or later, in fact, it seems to me that it must happen or else I don't see how the new Iraqi government can succeed. Therefore, we can rest assured that our investment in the Iraq dinar will pay off and pay off well. So, lets not become disheartened, the revalue must happen but we just don't lnow when exactly.

I, personally saw Amer's response as IF...BIG IF !
