Ok guys here is what I noticed recently.
Begin october I was surfing for the iraqi dinar in the dutch language. I ended up on the website from the National Bank of Belgium on the page with the IMF exchange rates for september/october 2006.
I stated 1:1 literally. I thought ok must be a mistake.
I saved the page with rates on my favorites. Now I wanted to check it again a few days back and now suddenly the page is not available anymore.
Ok, so I went checking the history of the rates of 2005 and another time period but i get no query results.
The only history results that are shown are till 07-2003 with an exchange rate of 0,310860???????
Seems to me that they are resetting exchange rates. Maybe National Banks first and soon very soon the commercial banks.
Must be something going on over there!!

not all banks are closed the entire holiday. there was a report yesterday that banks would reopen after eid which would make it the 25th and the isx would trade on the 1st. warka on the other hand is a private banking institution and can set their hours according to desire.

I was watching kurd sat, and it was showing smiling people in a grocery store and they were interviewing them, and they interviewed the clerk and he showed a blue plastic card about the size of a credit card.
Showing news now, Kurd Sat Live, Watch Kurd SatOne man's trick, is another man's treat.

but give the people something to live off of and something to occupy their time with and something to make them feel more worth and they will cease the negative behavior.
and give them something to celebrate for a change.
and my advice to anyone is stay clear of western media, where iraq is concerned, unless youre lookin for more braincleansing technique.Last edited by shotgunsusie; 19-10-2006 at 05:13 PM.
