The main reason I originally went to Compass and opened an account after hearing they were "in the business", was to make sure I had an outlet to sell back the Dinar once it was convertible and had a value. I consider myself all set now.

Very interesting! Are you saying that you opened an account online and then ordered the dinars and they sent them to you??? You didn't have to go in person?

Heh, no. I purchased Dinar online from a dealer a couple times THEN I found out about Compass, so opened an account in person because I am in Austin, Texas where a lot of Compass branches are.

    Interesting,

Sure would be nice if we could order dinar online with Compass or any other bank, but sadly, not quite yet, you need an account and have to be there in person at the few banks I talked with in US.

    Good luck to all, Mike

Well providing the banks are 'competitive', it'll put a lot of 'dodgy' dealers out of business. Shame.

Hmmmm.....I live in a neighboring state to a state that has Compass banks.......I wonder if I should take a little trip and see if they would accept me as a customer...or would they think it fishy that I don't have a local address??

Wouldn't have thought so Caroline, if they ask just say that you're down there a lot on business. They want the business at the end of the day. :0)

Seems to be a lot of Ebay Dinar auctions being deleted by Ebay. Some say the word "military" cannot be in the auction and this is why, but some of the auctions being removed dont have the word "military" in them. Hmm...

    Interesting,

It was bound to happen as many were scamming people with the buying frenzie over the past few months, and when PayPal was banned for purchases, I knew it would not be long that eBay would find a way to flush most off the site. Time will tell, but this sure demonstrates there are shortages of dinar in stock. I stopped selling on eBay when they stopped allowing PayPal for dinar.

    Good luck to all, Mike

With the banks starting to offer dinar for a similar price, who would you rather buy from? Less and less dinar sellers on ebay will happen, not a bad thing. I'll be happy when more and more banks start buying/selling them. It'll happen soon.
