Offshore Wealth
Interesting,
Having been on dozens of forums over the years, this is a common situation, the ebb and flow of people going from forum to forum is typical as they look for like minded people to surround themselves with. Guess you could call it a comfort zone, which in life is what most people seek out.
It is a bit sad as we really did have some great people on this forum, and looking back, I suppose we could all point fingers at a few, but overall, the ones who destroyed it were the typical ego maniac types who just had to be the top dog, grand poopa, top poster, whatever, but these are the types who will eventually get others upset, and move on, and this is how I see it.
Personally, debate is good, disagreement, and if a person has issues with another, then hash it out by PM or getting admin to settle it, but we had too many ego maniacs who just had to bash others in public, and in time, this will kill even the best forums. With so many great people involved from start, it is just a matter of time and they will migrate back home, so I decided to stay here instead of answering the cattle call to move to greener pastures. (g)
Good luck and health to all, Mike

I agree Mike,
The situation we had was not good, yes we had a very busy forum but it caused alot of problems from a few people and this made this a full time job to keep everything in order.
But hopefully we can start to get back the positive attitude we have had in here and together help each other!_________________________________________

Yes, we had to deal with the issues of a few disturbed personalities, and, in doing so, this forum has become quite a peaceful place to posit opinions and exchange ideas, if not a little boring for lack of controversy--but that's a good thing. I'd say a new start has been on-going since the dispersion of the previously small but highly vocal group of antagonists. How the forum shapes up and changes from here, for good or ill, will remain relative to adherence to the TOS guidelines laid down to foster a good communication decorum. This forum erred previously by allowing cross-purpose agendas of an antagonistic few that evidently also had the support of a moderator or two. Things have fairly changed for the better, new start notwithstanding.

I just posted on the "Question about the 28th" and I should have probably put my post here. It is a lot of what is being said here. I have been reading here since February, didn't join until I had to, to be able to read. I use to read here all the time, but there hasn't been much to read lately. I got to where I hated to log on here though, because I stayed up all night, reading arguing and bickering, trying to find any good information and discussion. I would be so upset with myself after doing it, because it was nothing useful, or maybe just a couple of post, then I would drag myself to work. I am so glad to see a few more of the old group posting. I hope the good ones do come back here. I had heard a lot left and went to the new forum, I did not know what it was, and really was glad, because I didn't want to go read all the junk and arguing anyway. I have faithfully logged on here to keep up with the news, and to see if anything else was going on. It looks like a few have tried to get something else going on here like Tank, Pat and a few of the other oldies but goodies. In that I mean some of the old RolClub members. I would like so much to see some good opinions and discussions going on here again.

Hope all gos well really soon for the lot of us. I still feel we have a strong site. Wish all of you well and will try to give a little more of myself. On paper that is...smile

Hello lglwzrd and everyone else,
The news is the most important thing, but it is good to be able to read other peoples opinion, like yours about Larry Nichols. I don't even know who he is, have only talked to the person on the phone that got me to invest, and she has said this or that is suppose to be happening, when I ask if it is something that LN's has said, and the answer is usually yes. I have read some of what you here at RolClub has discussed about him. I think there are several people here at RolClub that has some good opinions, like Pat, Tank, Warrior, Raditz, Offshore, Yogi, You, Seaview just to name a few. I love to read all the opinions that you all have. The only education I have on the Dinar is what I have read here, and I don't understand what a lot of it is. When you guys start discussing things it usually breaks things down and makes it a little more understandable, so what I am saying is I love to here all of you discuss and give your opinion. It also makes it feel like there are real people here, that is wanting and hoping for the same thing you are...RV... I am one of the ones that feel like this is a once in a Lifetime thing, but it may never happen in my Lifetime.

I hope we see a resurgance in news hounds posting at Rolclub. Seems to be on the come back trail aas we speak. Many feelings were bashed about and that was a shame. Seems a bit more civil and now we just need to regain our strength and move forward. The Larry Show drives me freacking nuts. he talks in riddles, tells folks what they want (and sometimes) need to hear and they take it as gospel. I for one am Not Anti American, Anti Bush, Anti just having common sense.....I feel that we are seeing a once in a lifetime opportunity here. We are seeing a nation come back from life support and I truly believe we will be rewarded, just not tomorrow, next week or anytime soon. Blessings all.
