and now nothing at all but the title and picture. They must be getting slammed with calls, and the cbi is closed until when for clarification?

Iraqi cabinet approves oil draft law
(MENAFN) The Iraqi Prime Minister said that the Iraqi Cabinet accepted a draft law which states how Iraq's oil profits will be shared, it will also outline terms of how foreign oil agencies will be able to operate in the country, Iraq Development Program reported.

Under the terms of the new draft law, the Iraqi National Oil Company (INOC) will be independently functional and joined with oil companies around the country.

Iraq's Deputy Prime Minister stated that the oil sector's profits will be put in a central account and distributed according to population and that the draft law will be put into action by the end of this month.

This is the Revenue Sharing Law, excellent news. Maybe they will meet a deadline!

This sounds like something more acceptable to the Kurds as well, doesn't it? Though it doesn't mention the details - I believe they wanted confirmation that it would go to a central location, but wanted an automatic mechanism for distribution by population. Hopefully they will be satisfied with it!

Super! Jola posted news a couple of weeks ago how this was to be paired and presented with the HCL for approval by the Parliament. this might mean the HCL is in fact approved as well. We will know very soon.i'm starting to feel like a kid in the Candystore.

I called Safe Dinar at 06:44 pacific time and as of yet they are not taking any new orders until they get official word of the real exchange rate. The 1269 rate on the website is not officially current.

Nice legwork. I believe we won't hear anything else of real value till the press conference this afternoon...... this is going to be a loooong day at work today
