(MENAFN) An official at Iraq's Kurdish regional authorities announced that the Kurdish government will sign deals with at least ten foreign oil companies by the end of the year, Iraq Directory reported.

The accords will include several projects to search, explore and produce oil in the Kurdish territory as a part of its plans to increase its oil output by 1 million barrels a day, he pointed out.
