MENAFN) Several Iraqi economists have urged the Iraqi government to reactivate the former Central Quotation Department in order to take control of the local market and curb the increases in prices, Iraq Economy reported.

The department, which was canceled by the former regime in the 1980s, was responsible for keeping stability in the Iraqi market as well as supervising currency exchange rates.

The economists said that inflation rates, which reached record levels in the past few years in Iraq, will threaten the country's economy unless the government takes serious measures to curb it.

Nope, after the sunnis take a turn to walk out then they'll all have to do a joint walk out. That should cover it unless of course they start the cycle all over again.

    Interesting,

Since it seems there is now an overwhelming urge for these illiterates in parliament to up and walk out anytime they want, I think it is time they are all put in leg irons once they are in session. And if this doesn't work, hold parliament in the gallows with a noose around each of their necks, then lets see how many walk out? (g)

    Good luck to all, Mike

Should I assume that further notice has been decided to be tomorrow? It's difficult understanding the minds of 275 morons.

    Baghdad-Sessions
Parliament to resume sessions on Monday
    By Adel Fakher
Baghdad, Feb 4, (VOI) - The Iraqi Parliamentary speakership board decided to resume sessions on Monday after Sunday's session was delayed due to the withdrawal of Shiite Unified Iraqi Coalition (UIC) bloc members in protest of Speaker Mahmoud al-Mashhadani's statements, a media source in parliament said.
"The parliament will resume sessions tomorrow," the source told the independent news agency Voices of Iraq (VOI), giving no further details.
Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mashhadani delayed Sunday's session till further notice after members of parliament of the UIC, the largest bloc with 130 out of a total 275 seats, walked out in protest against his statements.
[COLOR="Red"]Mashhadani had said that Mishaan al-Juburi, the leader of the Sunni Reconciliation & Liberation bloc, which has only three seats in the Iraqi parliament, was part of the Iraqi people. The UIC members also protested Mashhadani's reading of a statement by a number of tribal chiefs on the incidents of al-Zarga in Najaf as they deemed the statement as inciting against the Iraqi government led by Shiite Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki.
Juburi, who was stripped of parliamentary immunity late last year over charges against him and his son Yazan of financial and administrative corruption, is the owner of al-Zawraa satellite channel, recently closed by the government for allegedly fomenting sectarian sedition.
UIC Member of Parliament Abdul-Kareem al-Aanzi said "It is not acceptable to read statements in parliament sent by anyone," requesting to have the names of "those who sent the statement, which is so clearly inciting against the government."

If the Iraq govt has parliament members that have this must distrust and animosity for other political parties, or more to the truth, other religious sects as the minority sunnis, Its going to be along struggle for them. Someone needs to inform them that they are all Iraqis, working not for themselves but for all Iraqi people.JMO

Fortunately, the CBI is an autonomous entity and hopefully they only see a united Iraq among all religious sects and nationalities.
Which is, i believe, the best news for us. Go R/V

This is good...if they are to r/v soon, then someone would watch over market rates. We know that if they r/v tonight there would be chos in the market regarding prices of goods tomorrow. Bring them ack....bring on the r/v....things are lining up.
TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT....IF NOT....THEN TOMORROW NIGHT...OR MAYBE THE NIGHT AFTER
