Interesting,
EBay is so full of fraud now that you can't trust any transactions, and the reason is obvious, so many fall for phishing scam that you will see legitimate sellers accounts hijacked and when you see listing, and look at the feedback, you are fooled thinking this is a legitimate seller, WRONG, I almost got scammed on a vehicle purchase, as it was listed on a dealers site in my local area. When I called dealer to check, they had no idea their eBay store was hijacked. BUYER BEWARE, there are more scams on eBay than anywhere else on the internet. Never answer emails asking for verification of any accounts, PERIOD. Always log in and check your accounts status or you will fall victim to these scams. Don't even click on these email links, DELETE THEM.
Good luck to all, Mike

I get those emails all the time especially ones from paypal. Remember ebay or paypal will never ask you for your personal info like that

Plus if you do click on the link in the ebay look at that url when that window comes up. It will be a totally different address other than ebay. But with the same look as ebay's front page. People are always trying to steal your info

Hi,
I am also an e bay seller and get these messages too.
You need to inform e bay of them but do not reply to them.
Also remember that e bay or any bank will never ask you for your account details or passwords so it does not matter how authentic they look, never reply to them - YOU MUST INFORM E BAY AS SOON AS YOU GET THEM>
Have a great day

Am glad for the support you give to each other here. Wish I had had this kind of info and understanding before I, thoughtlessly mind you, replied to a scam realizing only later that what I was doing could be used for scam purposes.
Since then, I have been praying and hoping nothing negative will develop out of this. Thoughtless responses may come back haunting us like nightmares.

The real question is: how can one get the remainder of all the repetitive junk mail off one's email inbox without them ever coming back? I tried removing myself from their email lists for two days. For a short while it was ok, but didn't take long before another batch of new came.
I really wish there were a program by which one could pin point more accurately what you want and what not, so that such filter could erase anything undesirable to be blocked autmatically.
A firewall on high setting will stop much, but then that may also affect some private emails which you do want to get. This happened to someone I know and much of his business email were blocked as well.
Have a good weekend all,

Offshore-Wealth.com, I heartelly second your advice. There are way too many scammers involving regular looking sites. Some you cannot tell until you are billed. Some send multi-billing for a product you never received etc, etc.
