Thread: Reval This Weekend

Here in Oz, you can buy them just about everywhere. Travelex is one (although most of the time it has to be ordered in) and ANZ buy/sell the VND. We have a large number of Vietnamese residents here and Vietnam is a regular holiday destination for Aussies/Kiwis and therefore easier to come by. They also have an ANZ bank in Vietnam. Put another order in for 3 mil today from Travelex - the lady there quoted me A$90/mil. Asked her if they honour rates quoted and she said no - you pay the rate of the day you go in to pick it up as they can't send it to you. Called ANZ yesterday and tried to place an order. They told me they hadn't received their rates for the day and try again later in the day. Called back 3 hours later - still no rates received and therefore couldn't place an order. Will try them on Monday.

I guess everyone needs a diversion from dinar, so dongs seem to be the logical alternative at the moment. From dinarholic to a dongholic, I don't know which is worse. lol

Oh well, time to order some more of both, made a killing on unranium stocks this past couple months, so what the heck, this has got to be the financial freedom year of all years for all of us, so might as well go for it. (g)

B of A will udate their rates early Monday am. So we will know then if the VND has indeed RV'd. If not another day!

I invest in several venues, always researching what's hot and what's not, so it depends what you are looking for. I research energy related investments for obvious reasons, so with all that is going on in the world over energy, this is a hot market. One of my favorites at the moment is uranium as it is now well defined that supplies cannot keep up with demand, both current and over the next ten years, so plenty of room for more profits.

Not to bore anyone here given it is not Iraq related, but with Iran moving into nuclear arena faster than anyone wanted to admit, it will have an impact on Iraq and the world, so it is worth knowing for all who are concerned about the trends in energy which impacts us all.

I have placed several orders for dinar through Ali and have always received them the next day, unless you order past his 4:00 PM shipment time. I am not sure if he is in EST or CST, but I have never had a problem with my shipment. I do know that if you order after 4PM on Thursday or before that time on Saturday, he will ship it out as a Monday delivery. If you place the order before that deadline on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, you will get it the next day.

I placed an order for NamMoney on Thursday and I got the confirmation email from him Friday morning, so I would give that email at least 24 hours to reach you. It would appear from his statement here this morning, that my order was placed just in time. Ali just confirmed to me that my order was shipped today for a Monday delivery. His posting stated that he is now out of this money, but will receive another shipment on May 1. From everything I am seeing, this seems to be the 'hot-ticket' item for now!!!

From my experiences, and others that I have seen here, there is no need to worry about Ali's word...it is good as (if not better than) gold. His word, as well as his reputation, far exceed my expectations. He is totally awesome in my book .

Mike is right in drifting towards this direction too....keeping up with the energy supply/demand sources is gradually impacting many markets (usually operating on low "profile" level resulting from international monitoring) , this is a heads turn if you want another unanimous alternative thats up for grabs too!!!

the sad downturn on the current malais here with the NID is having to tears together at our beachnik ladies team... who were all geared up(2-piece swimsuits??? ) for the sandy party...Cayman Islands or wherever..... blame it all on Saddam's Sunnies to the Sadr's Shiites for all the monkeying in Baghdad for this!!!

Anyway, look on the brighter side and perhaps, celebration and partying by the jacuzzi pool in a Las Vegas location may not be so bad an idea after all...at least it takes off the heat for the moment and chill out to chin UP with cocktails and fun to some sightseeing we are organising for the RC Entourage to Vegas this summer... Ok, seems as I may have missed out...
I haven't bought any dong as I really don't have any spare money...
And because of that I haven't followed the dong forum either, even though I alsways planned on buying dong - later! But now maybe I waited too long...
So you all think this will hit before the dinar? Then, if it doesn't reval during the weekend, I will buy some on Monday.
What kind of profits are you expecting? Say if I buy one million dong, how much do you expect it to be worth after reval?
