Does this imply that the value of the Dong at it's present day rate is too high? If so the reval would actually make the Dong less valuable against the dollar so that VN's goods would become less expensive to foreign buyers. Is that not so?

Hi guys,

This is the exporters complaining, likely about the proposed higher value. The low value of the dong is what makes their exports more competitive compaired to neighbor countries. Neighbor countries are complaining about the low value for the same reason. You just can't please everyone!

I can't release all of my info but I was just told the dong is done and is at .0625. Check it our for your self.
