From my take and gathered information on the economy and infra structure still moving at snail's pace despite much high profile investments moving in, I see that country coming out gradually but not earlier than 5 years from now at the earliest for there is soooo MUCH yet to be understood when "opening UP" is something they first need to confront with themselves on their own grounds and that again is testimony on the pessimism aired by the lady in question... she's getting grassroots feedback and analysis from folks back home and there's more truth there than the media can siphoned out!!!

I have been on the Dinar rollercoaster for over 2 years. I think it will happen soon, and I will need something to do with all of that money. I have no problem actually going to Vietnam and opening a bank account...a rather large bank account! LOL I work in Iraq and have for 3 years, sorry I work with explosives, so I have no contact with Iraqi's! Anyway...we come and go through Dubai. One of my favorite watering holes there has a charming Vietnamese bar tender. She is quite fluent in english and works her tail off. Over the last 3 years we have become friends. I will be passing through there in about 2 weeks. I will talk to her about this. (if I can get her to stop for 2 minutes, like I said she works her tail off!) I look at the dong as a true Long term inverstment. And I really dont see the returns to be as large as with the Dinar. But, we will definately have ALLOT more to put into it wont we?

with the final WTO meeting coming up in 2-3 days. And the decision to let Vietnam in is cruical.

I belive that the access to the WTO is a keypoint in Vietnams history, and i belive that a reval will happen much faster than 5 years.

The potential in Vietnam is not as good as Iraq, but its the country after iraq with the biggest potential. And looking at inflation, and poverty etc. Vietnam is way ahead of Iraq, and that is one thing to have in mind.

Anyway, i think we all can agree on that Vietnam have a very interesting future and i will follow it closely!

Please post what you hear from her... I too got here because of the dinar, and I hope it hits big... but now I think I kind of got the currency bug.

I'm a dinar investor and I just now (today) heard of the Dong. I've been trying to read some of the threads here on Rolclub about the Dong. Can someone tell me what the current value is and what they expect the revalue to be; or give me a link where I can find this info? I would really appreciate the help! Thanks!

Hey coky,

I think that this will be good place to start to see what news of this is facts and if it even supports this. I have oreder and recieved and will jump in alot more as the Dinar is coming along. Raditz, Chouchou and Yogi, have brought most of the News here. I started a thread of where to Buy and where to get News from. plus posted the news Alert that the US signed trade agreements and the the WTO is in the works if not already Done.

Once before, it was a long road into the jungles of Nam, but ever since, it has seen the world progressing and it knew, it can't afford to stay behind and thus..... she decided to leap as far South, West and North with China to compete....

It still has a long way to go but the roads to modernisation is rapidly increasing in Vietnam and so is the economy, Loki.

As Neno has said, and with Raditz and Chouchou churning up with updates... doing your DD is staying close to this Forum thread and with your support ....RC members will support your interaction for sure....count on it...
