I just got this PM here at IIF! It is from Crazy Bill who is in Iraq as a contractor! We have PMed back and forth a couple of times and I asked him to let me know of any news from his Iraqi workers!

hey there, i don't know if you remember me or not. this is bill in AD Diwaniyah Iraq, you sent me a message a couple of weeks ago. anyway i was going to start a new thread but this computer wouldn't let me so i figured i would send it to you instead. as i said in the post that you replied to i am in AD Diwaniyah i have many iraqi workers that had been getting excited about the dinar increasing in value so they had been changing all thier U.S. $ back to dinar. i have asked them to keep me posted as to the word on the streets localy and well today a few of them came to me very excited and said that the banks here in AD Diwaniyah are exchanging the U.S.$ into dinar for 1200 to 1 and that the news had announced that the dinar and the U.S.$ will be equal after a few important anouncement within the next few weeks. now ofcourse at that point i freaked out! i have been scouring this forum and every other damn dinar link i can find everywere and cant find anything along these lines. the only thing that i can really find is the rumors about a reprint of the money and yes i do believe that is all they are RUMORS! i can't remember the timeline but i am sure that Iraq had to sign agreements with world bank when they changed the dinar that they couldn't change it for a preset time. anyway i haven't let any of my family or friends know about my dinar investment and i got so excited i had to share this with someone, i hope you dont mind. see if you can find anything out through your channels and keep me posted please. thanks bill"

When I look at a rumor from now on, I check the so-called 'contact' information.

Since we know that 'contacts' and 'boots on the ground' have yielded absolutely no truthful or useful information, this rumor is dead in the water!

These so-called contacts say that the news had announced that the dinar and the U.S.$ will be equal after a few important announcements within the next few weeks - and yet after extensive search to verify the news report, he CAN'T!

His so-called 'contacts' and the info they report are, as in every case so far, unreliable, unverifiable and in some odd way like ghosts - INVISIBLE!

This thread has been active for quite some time and guess what - still no evidence that even one credible contact exists in Iraq or anywhere else!

All this talk about, "My contacts here... My contacts there..." is regrettably just a bunch of worthless, pointless posturing!

(Hey, this is the first thread I've ever had - it's kinda fun - sure helps to pass the time!)

Kinda like a secert. "if you tell, then it isn't a secert anymore". Good try thow. I know that my contact, "A freind". Out of respect for him/her will never be revealed to likes of something like this. They are for me. And if I want to share with the membership, that is my choice. I believe all should keep their on Sources to them selves, asfar as revealing them.

I mean they should be vauled of course. But when one's own statements never come to pass, then you just read between the lines from then on. Why try to bring someone down with child play. Just look pass them.

I will say that I have repected your post. So why not keep it that way, and in return, respect others on the forum. If you dont believe the member, just look past the post. Much easier that way, than to try and create problems for that member, or even yourself. Thats it.
