Deep breath and count the little things you feel you're blessed with. It may be as simple as having dinner with family or a night of quiet catching up with your readings. I think what's important is to constantly fill your mind because once it's idle, negative thoughts will creep in.

When I have a lot of negative thoughts, then I need jogging or any yoga studio. I know it's probably weird when I search the timeviewer for the closest open yoga studio in my area during lunch, but it really helps me to let go of the situation, get rid of negativity, calm me down and start thinking about how I can change or rectify the situation. I'm sure many people here find exercise to be effective when they are sad or aggressive.

You know, I tried different things, including drinking and smoking marijuana. I can't say that such ways are useless for getting rid of negative thinking, but at the same time, such stuff can be harmful and dangerous for our health. A few months ago I started practising yoga, and since then I feel perfect. I have no stress, and I enjoy every moment of my life. When I first heard about yoga, I said this is a waste of time. But my friend sent me a guide for practising yoga and convinced me to try it for a week. Since then, I am the biggest adept of yoga.
