    Talking Behold the turtle...

Behold the turtle, he makes progress only when he sticks his neck out!” This was one of the favorite lines used through my child hood by a woman who raised two children from her wheelchair.

She was a shining example to all the kids in the neighborhood and was dearly loved for more than her cooking and deserts made by hand. While limited she felt grateful for being able to get about and raise her children, even if it was from a wheelchair, as she knew others that were less fortunate.

It is hard to feel sorry for yourself when you seen your mother walk her wheelchair up a curb or the front steps without any aid. She was a speed demon and fun to be with and I never got the chance to really thank her for all her wisdom and support that saw me through all my accomplishments before she passed. Thanks to her “Get er DONE” attitude I take each problem, Identify, Adapt, and Overcome!

It’s more fun on the positive side of life and worth the look on your dad’s face at that moment he finds out that his slippers are full of his shaving cream!

Well, welcome to the real world. All who have tried gave up on the first Million and started working on the second. Some quit on the second and started on the third, but of those who continued on, many finally made it!

Guess that is a sign that hope is just a little further down the road as failure is just one wrung on the ladder to success.
