I agree with you wholeheartedly. What I find interesting though is that we constantly hear the "if you don't like rumours then go away" or "we don't need babysitting because we only take rumours with a grain of salt anyway" from a lot of members - which is fine but then they contract themselves by stalking the poster with "what's the update on the rumour" or "where is the poster because its past the date they said". To me, if rumours are only to be taken with a grain of salt then why do people contradict their own statements by seeking more info on it. I'm sure that whatever the poster's intention behind the rumour (whether it good or bad) they will no doubt post more on it if/when they have it. Just an observation. Peace

While people, including myself, can get excited about a good rumor, I believe the vast majority take it for what it is and keep their perspective. Most of the yeaing and naying comes from the few that expect to get rich quick and are not patient or those elitist on the forum that don't believe that the rest of us have the ability to make reasonable decisions without their guidance.

Good point,

No matter what the rumor is, we have all been through this enough to know most do not pan out. Heck, even factual posts of good news rarely come to pass, so how can anyone expect a rumor to pan out. (g)

Nothing wrong with a good rumor since one day soon, they will start to come true and then all the factual posts will mean little, so all we can do is have fun, learn and above all, have patience. Rumors are always appreciate in the proper section, and for those who cannot handle the frustrations, skip the rumor section, simple.

if there is that big of a percentage of people here who think 5 years then what exactly are those people doing hanging around here lamenting? for the next 5 years you plan on sitting here and whining coz your ship hasnt come in?
