sorry friend but thats old news....not to mention theres always been articles that come out all the time that has to due with debt relief and have been for 3 years starting with the oganization and building the paris club(donor countries) while yes its good news it nothing to get excited about cause alot of folks create a hype over it and spin it as if its gonna RV tommrow. You have no idea if in fact your assumptions are correct. Assumptions are never known to be correct until whatever your assuming occurs. Your guess, and yes it's just a guess, is no better than anyone else's. But on the other hand no one has a clue as to what will take place. I don't know when the dinar will reval, I beleive it will. I have no concrete knowledge of when it will and I don't know that it won't, no one does. There is no difference bwtween those that say it will happen soon and those that say it won't happen for a long time. The best we can do is read the news and compile our thoughts to formulate our best guesses.

good point on assumptions...just like rumors......my guess is as good as yours or anyone else's guess...rather i'm assuming its taking this Iraqi government longer then it takes to meet certain deadlines....which they have missed already....or someone is stating a rumor as a done deal which has yet to pan out.....maybe assumptions are never known to be correct until they happen but i have as of yet seen one rumor pan out....i just made a statement based on facts posted in the news thread that it looks like the Iraqi government will ask for another postponment in meeting certain deadlines...thats all...nothing more...nothing less......i never said you...or anyone else for that matter had to agree with it...i am sure you are an adult and can make your own assuptions..or guess if you will....just like most of us are inteligent enough to either believe a RUMOR as true....or as you so put it an assumtion ...which in your own words is not known to be correct until what you are assuming occurs....and you are right..the best we can do is read....and make our own assumptions based on how we interpret what we read....

If one bases their assumptions on the track record of the GoI, I can understand assumptions in both directions. While I have been blown away by the absolute childishness of the politicians in the parliament I also understand what obstacles they must overcome. Even at that they are trying. Our time line and theirs aren't even close.

I have really gotten tired of terms such as "it's a done deal" and "I'm only being realistic". Only the CBI knows if it's a done deal and you have to know intimate inside information to know whats real. None of us knows any of this.

no problem RetMil....i understand ....I have been in this over 2 years[dinar investment]....it can be very frustrating watching this Iraqi goevernment perform or should i say under perform....all we can do is wait....and as you say...noone....except for a few people associated with Shabibi knows when it will revel.....
