L.O.L. = 22 / or 23 / or is it 24 pages of comments / they are all appreciated . . .

Two days ago / I received word / that / Shabibi (?sp?) / has, [ past tense ], signed off on the RV . . .

Info came from one source in USA & a bit later from one in Iraq . . . I was a bit overwhelmed . . . to say the least . . . two sources received when I didn't even ask the question . . .

RATE: The same as the KWD rate before their recent change . . . by my figures it WILL be approx. US$3.45 / . . . In effect / Time frame = "possibly as soon as Sunday / or within a day or two."

My Iraq source was / is / a bit thin, as they do not have an actual source from within the CBI / so I have been waiting for a call back from another source . . . but that call has not yet been received . . . I will be up / in anticipation of receiving a call from them . . . and I will advise if / when I get this call . . .

So, that's what I have so far . . . my normal warning . . . this is 3rd hand info & my guys have been wrong before . . .

Only that the oil law has been accepted and passed by parliament. As I said, this comes from a person who is very politically tied here in New Jersey to events in the middle east.

I trust that your sources are valid. Therefore, I have a question--- in your opinion....does this mean anything more than just the oil law has been passed...or does this mean something bigger....something that we are all hoping for....something that rymes with "carbee"???

Your sarcasm is getting to be a bit much. You somehow seem scorned, for some reason. If you don't like the news here, or rumors as they are, you still have your private chat room, I am sure your sources will confirm anything that you need. This forum has been doing okay and all of a sudden, you raise your head with all kinds of ugly sarcastic comments. SGS is free to post what she feels, go on vacation when and where she wants, for whatever reason she wants, that's her business. I don't recall her asking anyone to believe anything she or rr has said, or for you to fall into some type of anxiety fit. What we do know is tha this ride is almost over. I am looking forward to the ride ending just so that I won't have to hear from some of you ever again. Get over yourself and please stop being so childish. The mods have asked that people respect each other and behave in a civilized manner. I don't think that's too much to ask. If you all don't like each other, I can live with that, I just don't appreciate reading through the thread to see all of the bickering back and forth. I sure hope we don't get another thread closed due to some people's ignorance. You still have your chat room, if they close this thread, I am sure you will find your way back into your chat room with information your sources feed you, but please allow us that have just the RC to be able to get information without all of the unnecessary craziness. Grown up please.

Thank you SMC for this post, the size and scope of the hypocracy of the CK chatroom/cultroom has been absolutely breathtaking - on the one hand they have systematically banned anyone who talks favorably of SGS (I was banned for using the thanks button for her news posts) on the other they privately bash RC and its current membership saying that it has become worse than the other forum. Thier strategy lately has been to lurk as guests or use different names to post as newbies, but the current situation has drawn some of them back out to post here.

I'm not saying they are are all bad, the original intent of that chatroom was to provide a place where RC members could meet if this site went down but unfortunately it became an exclusive private club!
