The oil law was passed last week, it was a third draft which was finally agreed upon. An enactment needs to take place next. When, who knows? I don't think a revalue will take place (if one ever does) until at least a few months after the oil law enactment.

HCL is with parliament.
Info I received: HCL is with parliament and will be voted on before weeks end. Expect to hear of HCL passing by the 24th. Possible rate change by the 28th. Very reliable source.

Just to set the record straight, the possible rate change for the 28th was my opinion. The only info I received was about the HCL, nothing about the currency.

Council decided the presidency penultimate held on 19-5-2007 ratification of the Law of the Republic of Iraq to the International Agreement on Olive Oil and Table Olives, 2005, by Resolution No. 21.

The accession of the Republic of Iraq to the International Agreement on Olive Oil and Table Olives, 2005
Article 1-join the Republic of Iraq to the International Agreement on Olive Oil and Table Olives, 2005, signed at the Palais des Nations in Geneva from 25 to April 29, 2005.
Article 2-This Act implemented from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Reasons
Given the importance of the International Agreement on Olive Oil and Table Olives, 2005, for the accession of the Republic of Iraq to this agreement, which is consistent with the large development project implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, and aims to cultivate (30) during the thirty million trees (15) fifteen years, and that requires support locally and internationally to ensure the great success, initiated this law.
