I am not Scottish or Irish...but the guy across the street moved here from Ireland. Also, red hair and green eyes are my favorite combination!! I am jealous...I myself am I brown eyed girl!

You don''t have to be Irsih to enjoy the purple rose. You should be able to find it easily. Comes in full regular bloom or teacup size. Hubby's family were florists and I got them on a regular basis.

What are you going to do next, chow down a "worm" pie? Next year, if you're here next year you'll be be doing it Solo. Better yet why not sell your stash to someone with a better outlook on life?

Misery may love company but I don't think you'll find it in this crowd.

Ooh-Ooh! Pick me! My fridge took a dive yesterday, so I have to go buy a new one tonight...wonder if they'll take dinars..... On the up-side, I figure I'll get a nice one to leave for the new homeowners when I sell this house to buy my new one! (by mid-summer, yes? )

I don't like feeling this way,as most of you know I am typically over the top with positive cheerleaders. So anyone have some positive thoughts they could share...or does anyone relate to the occasional slump of negatives???? Help me out here, I don't want to be in a bad mood and ruin what may be an exciting time.

    Thanks in advance....
Hey Mom 2! What a great thread, even Mr. Grumpy there who had to toss in his happy 2 cents worth. Just makes you want to be his friend when things get blue, doesn't it? Oh well, forget it. He may be having a worse day than you.
The thought came to me about what JC did when he had 5,000 people to feed and had a couple of day-olds and a few fish to do it. He did not ASK God to provide the meal, as this would have indicated that he believed in lack. He THANKED God that the need was already supplied, and it was. I believe that our divine companion walks with us always, and if I am giving thanks every minute for the good I have and the good that is on it's way, I don't have much time for despair, which can appear to have destructive power of it's own. So chin up, girl! We are all behind you and each other, like the big family we have talked about so often.
    love, blessings and gratitude!
